AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. AU OCCUPATION: Doctor, freelance and tends to take more house calls than anything!

BLURB: Mikazuki was born and raised in Japan before moving to Recolle in his later 20's. He is basically a young man who acts like an old man! He's not good with technology or personal things like shopping...what's "hip" with the youth of today and things like that, although he does try to keep up with the times regardless -- even if it means being a few short years behind.

He has a lot of simple hobbies like brewing tea, reading and writing, calligraphy, and he's more recently gotten into collecting antiques...you can almost always find him in your local park too, just taking leisurely strolls for the afternoon. He also likes bingo...and coming from a wealthy family really allowed him to have the spare time to engage in all of these hobbies!

He'll have known Tsurumaru/Rindou ( surprising ) since childhood and often read to him and taught him games! Also given his elderly father's condition, he'll have known Kanesan/Izumi's ( recentlypopular ) family and Izumi himself for a few years before they re-met through Rindou later!

LOOKING FOR: Anyone who'd like to be friends with Mikazuki or would like to have him as their doctor too! He's a fan of spoiling others so if you'd like a pseudo grandpa then he's your jiji! 👌

If you have any ideas to help with AU or ideas for pre-planning that I haven't said then anything goes tbh!!

It would be really fun if they just randomly know each other through running into each other in the park and stuff? Majima's not big on bingo but he plays mahjong and a variety of traditional japanese games (wanna play koi koi heck yes you do) and he could defs drag mikazuki off to play mahjong sometime. im sure all the little old ladies at the asian community center would get a kick out of jiji

oh he'd love that! please teach jiji mahjong and in turn he can teach majima the fun of bingo... tbh he'd also love to go to the community center and make friends with the little old ladies

I'm looking for family members since Kiyoshi will have a pretty large one.. His dad is a yakuza lawyer and idk if that would be anything of interest but if you'd like, Kiyoshi and Mikazuki could be cousins through their father or half-brothers through the same mother (though I put her as an ikebana master she could have changed profession after she broke contact with Kiyoshi when he was four; though he did meet her and some child of hers once in his teens after that, and saw her/them from a distance a couple times).

ohhh! i like the sound of this, idm mikazuki and kiyoshi being cousins! he's the type to keep in touch with family so he'd def have talked with kiyoshi when they meet through family visits and things like that

That is great! Kiyoshi will call Mikazuki Mika-chan. And probably showed him some nice places in the city since it seems Mikazuki moved over here after him.

Omg I would love to have jiji as Jirou's doctor. Jirou is filthy rich so he'd want to have his own doctor rather than go places. Why go places when the doctor can come to you! Best deal!

kashuu doesn't have the money for a private dr honestly but I'M STILL HERE FOR CR... they might know each other through tsuru or kanesan, maybe! he's gotta be here to judge jiji for being Old

let him live his old lifestyle... but i'd be chill with that! most likely they'd have met through tsuru since jiji would like to visit him a lot to make sure he's doing okay, possibly to give him some spending money -- he'd happily treat kashuu to things too!

he can live his old lifestyle but he's still gonna get judged by the whippersnappers... but that sounds good to me! he'll instantly become a fav of kashuus if he spoils him smh
