Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

AU AGE: 25
AU OCCUPATION: Secretary/Assistant to some big company
BLURB:

- Born in the middle of a war zone, he’s used to having to fight for survival. He joined the military at a young age, being a child solider, before he managed to sneak out of the country.
- In order to keep surviving, Jason became a hitman. Too scarred from the war, he’s too used to killing and he found that his skills helped him with this particular job.
- Illiterate at first until he began to teach himself how to read during breaks between jobs.
- After a failed attempt to kill one of his targets, he was forced to go on the run and moved to Recollé.
- Somehow managed to find himself a job as a secretary/assistant, of all things.
- On the side, he likes to dabble in rather mundane things. Reading is a hobby of his, but he does like to go exercise - a run usually.
- Trying to forget about his shady past, but he wouldn’t hesitate to use his skills against if necessary.

LOOKING FOR: Anyone! Someone who might be willing to help the guy out or just be friends. Family is also appreciated since his own memories of his family are hazy.

Come on Parthevia wasn't that terrible a nation. We only like hired nine year old assassins and told all our soldiers to go die for the glory of the Empire.

Yeah, because that always works out so well. I mean, look at how well it's done now.

NGL was shocked that it was doing so well in Magi canon when it was such a shitshow in SnB.

Anyway please bring Jafar even if I have no idea how these two would interact.

You gotta suspect there was some foul play there. in SnB there was a lot of shady things going on there.

I would find it ironic that Seren might've been his failed target at some point and they became acquainted with one another.

Sure, Seren's still super rich in this AU. Her father is still shady AF. Why not try to kill her?

Alternatively she might find out about his past and slide him a photo of her ex and a message to kill the poor guy.

Then it's completely doable.

But that can also be arranged. He expects to be paid quite nicely for this, Seren, since it's your ex he's killing.

Do you want to live in the same condo building or something?

Sure! I definitely won't mind, and they might have even come across each other a few times, too.
