AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Teobaldo Leonhearts | LiEat
CHARACTER: Teobaldo Leonhearts
CANON: LiEat
AU NAME: Theodore Leonhardt
AU AGE: 23
AU OCCUPATION: Actor
BLURB: Canonically, a con man on the run after ditching out on his old and extremely powerful gang. He changes his name and appearance in each town and lives a life taking on odd jobs, info brokering, and scamming people out of cash. He's also the accidental parental figure of a young dragon girl, oops.
AU:
-Child actor all grown up! He's currently playing one of the main characters in some ongoing TV drama that takes place in Recollé in which everyone's hooking up with everyone else and characters get shuffled around as actors get involved in scandals, etc. (Think Grey's Anatomy.) He plays the cute, naive newbie.
-His first television role; he's done a lot of movies from ages 12 onwards though so his name is pretty recognizable! His acting name, anyway. He goes under an acting name and has ever since he was a little kid (It was probably his favorite pretendy OC because he's a nerd.) Name to be determined.
-When he was very young his parents adopted some foster kids into the family; unfortunately when his parents died in an accident, his aunt and uncle were only willing to take him in, so said siblings got shuffled back into the foster care system. He has no idea what happened to them but he still feels guilty as he'd regarded them as his actual siblings with all the protective instincts that comes with that.
-He proooobably maintains a lot of social media accounts with his acting persona. He doesn't officially model but he's known for his eccentric styles with a lot of hair dyes/bleaching and styling and fashions and such.
-He actually studies at Recollé University under his real name and goes incognito to do so. He's in finance because his aunt and uncle blew most of the money he made while he was in their care, so now he's determined to make All The Muns and keep them. To do so he usually goes around in very plain clothes and consistent dirty blonde hair. He's also a huge grumpy butt to try to interact with.
-He's also not originally from Recollé, he moved here for the TV gig within the past year or so, so there's a far less chance that people know him on a personal level from prior to that.
LOOKING FOR:
-Long lost siblings! He was 12 when his parents died so if anyone wants to have their orphan have been his sibling for a few years, they'd be 11 years older now.
-Fellow actors! It's the type of show where characters are added or written out as needed, so if people want their characters to be in on this gig just let me know! I figure it'd be pretty fast and loose with a lot of room for people to invent new developments on the spot if it comes up (yes, your character sure did just deal with a traumatic incident involving ten rubber chickens, a golden retriever, and an airhorn, why not). It's a ~*drama*~ but it probably sounds ridiculous to anyone who's not really into it.
-Fellow classmates! He's far less charming when he's running around incognito, but he's a good sort for banter if someone really obnoxiously befriends him.
-Kids to... big bro?? He's fairly resistant to the idea of parenting or anything but he does have a soft spot for kids. He's not necessarily nice about it, but he'll look out for younger folks who seem like they could use it.

As a note I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it this round, so this miiiight end up being a next round thing, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway /o/

How pleasant he is to work with probably corresponds directly with how much he is Getting Paid for the job, so depending on how they know of each other Kurt might actually have some stories to tell :3c

If they run into each other again though, Nazuna can notice that his actor persona is much more pleasant than when he was a kid! He was a lot more sullen back then even if he was good at the actual acting part.

IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOUNG, but nazuna was definitely not...great...towards the end of his childhood career so big mood, man. he had a really shit manager and then got out of it so it'd be great to reunite!!! and see the actual person for both of them instead of just... stage personas

About how old was Nazuna when he left the business? o: I figure Theo started getting into bigger productions around 12 and onwards which is also around when his parents died and Not Great for him as a result, haaah. It'd be cool if they could meet up and Nazuna got a dose of both the friendly stage persona and the much brattier real self, hahaha

He also would have been around to see Theo take on his more pleasant actor persona on the odd occasions in which they met up, going from the sullen kid who kinda hates everything because his parents are dead and his siblings are gone to Smiley McGee making friends with execs
please give him jobs and moneyI thiiiiink it'd be normally pretty difficult to tell his identity when he's going around incognito since it's so different from his appearance and presentation as Kestrel Blade but since Nazuna knew him when he was a sullen child and he is in fact still kind of a grouch when he's not pretending otherwise, Nazuna might actually clue in sooner than most other people o:
But also!! Since Nazuna's younger than him and they do have that connection from his acting days, he might also help lowkey look out for him still because... the big brother instinct in this guy is Too Strong. Whether or not that extended in any way to their acting days is up to you, Theo wouldn't have stuck his neck out too much but he's the type who definitely tries to help people in subtle ways that they aren't necessarily going to notice, like keeping in touch to vent to about shitty manager things or whatever.
