AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. BLURB:

• Born in Austria to a wealthy family.
• They moved to Recolle when he was a kid.
• He got bullied at school, so his parents withdrew him and had him homeschooled.
• But this year he's made a comeback (?)!! He's going to try and live like a normal teenager damn it—aka he's recently started attending high school.
• He also moved out (to Birch Hill maybe?).

• A nerd who gets perfect grades because he will despair over anything less.
• He's not 100% sure what he wants to do with his life, but possibly plans to study sociology or law in uni.
• Outside of class, he plays the violin, tutors people, and volunteers at the orphanage?? Also he hangs out at the library/book store a lot.
• Speaks of a bunch of different languages, including German and Russian.
• He's basically clueless about anything else outside of the above because he's been sheltered (and spoiled, albeit in a well-meaning way) for so long, so. He's the kind of person who peers into cafe windows but never goes inside because he needs to??? figure out the etiquette first????
• He's also the person who probably sets off the smoke alarm a lot as he tries to figure out how to cook. I'm sorry.

• Essentially he's a straight-laced dork and perfectionist who will nag/mom everyone ever.

see you in class, kid! i think hizashi's Extra nature and weird (read his idea of "fun") sentences for grammar practice and less than classical reading selections might rock bruno a little? though he can totally relate to the nagging part hizashi is also a bubbly person who tries to get shy kids out of their shell

Either (or both) sounds good to me! Bruno's, uh, the sort to nag very hard if he suspects a lack of motivation, but he does genuinely want to see people succeed!! (Sorry, Kotone.)

hey january it's lucy! hinata here will be 16 and could use a tutor or at least. someone to nag him sometimes because he's better when he applies himself but he gets distracted...dave strider is a first year in college now but ? they might have overlapped at least a little???

Mafuyu's 16 and would be in his grade, so they could be classmates! She desperately needs tutoring but she also has like three people unsuccessfully trying to help her with that and would only be a headache for Bruno haha, but she's good at forcing friendships onto anybody and everybody and would be someone who would drag him into cafes or wherever he looks interested in without giving anything proper thought, if he needs a pushy friend :P
