Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB:

- not a pink-skinned creature with horns and black sclera who secretes acid and calls herself alien queen, for a start... regular teenage human girl, at your service!
- probably still calls herself alien queen actually
- former aspiring olympic sprinter who pretty much quit because she lost interest
- grew up with well-meaning but fairly distant career-minded parents who were rarely home basically from the time she was old enough to be left, so she's learned to be good at taking care of herself
- pretty average student, meets with a tutor regularly at her mother's insistence, feels as though she doesn't need it because she's doing fine except she's really only doing fine because of it
- has no idea what she wants to be when she grows up
- optimistic thrill seeker in love with fun in all its forms, will try anything once and yell PARKOUR at every stumble
- stands up to bullies of all kinds and all sizes! even if she's nowhere near a match for them! even and especially if she's not the one they're targeting!

LOOKING FOR: anything and everything?! school friends, her tutor(s?!), mean people she's stood up to, people she's stood up for. who likes cat cafes, do you like cat cafes, this is the girl for you. she's actually kind of indifferent to cats in general but she gets to give these ones back so it's fine. unless you're allergic and she sets you off on the way home from work because that hair gets everywhere

Soooooo about that tutoring position? We could take the canon option.

i'd be super down for that! ~~god knows mina needs all the help she can get~~ good luck honestly because without others to keep her on track there's a lot of getting bored and distracted and wanting to go do something else

Haha, alright! We can def. Do that. Momo goes by Mary in this AU, and she's definitely not uber rich. Just living with her uncle Matt Murdock, but she will still tutor. Mina definitely needs the help.

that's actually great because mina would much prefer to be somewhere that doesn't feel huge and empty since her own house regularly does. assuming she'd do it there that is, though honestly mina's place works too for basically the same reason, just to get some life in there if nothing else.

That works for me either way! It'll be nice to have them sorta feel one another out that way too

mina doesn't really like people to see her sad little empty house if she can help it so if it being at mary's works for you then that'd be great! would this be a recent thing?

That'd be fine. She's not super bothered by company, so long as it's understood that her uncle Matt is around. And can probably hear them, anywhere, because he's Daredevil.

It would be a recent thing. Maybe started over the summer? Mary's only been in Recolle since the previous spring.

tsuyu's probably going to join the track team so they could be track buddies if ashido's still on it despite losing interest in her olympic dreams

whenever he's not at work he's at the cat cafe and cats have been climbing all over his left side.
Also a slowly rising actor! So that's cool! Even if he got his scar back and he's horrified!

SO aizawa as either her former or current math teacher who continues to be plagued by her antics and exasperated by her lackluster motivation for schoolwork even in this universe y/y

but also he does indeed actually like cat cafes and might visit them on a pretty frequent basis and now i'm just like. one of these days they need to cross paths in there on accident...clearly....lock eyes in passing.....aizawa's ultimate secret revealed whoops

/CRASHES IN HERE EXTRA LATE but sup, hi?!

Kirishima is still going be the nickname of Cutter in the game (born Eijirou Kirishima, switched to Alan Sharpe when he was adopted because he wanted to show that he feels more connected to his adoptive parents than a family he never knew, then Cutter happened because dumb boys will be dumb), and has sort of switched sides in his Recolle AU aka. he's thinking that villains are cool and heroes stupid because his family is knee deep in the organized crime. Because of that he has sort of a history of trying to be badass and a Bad Student and troublemaker and all that jazz, except he's sorta fail at it because he still has his morals and code of manliness and yeah-

TLDR: he recently got into parkours and has been doing capoeira (not to mention dancing classes but those are a secret shhh) for years, maybe they can know or run into each other over that? Or maybe Mina first stood up to him and then for him when he tried being a delinquent with fail success again |D In any case, I'd love to get some CR with them!

Hello! Juri would love cat cafes, probably immediately went there a week or so after she moved into Recolle. She would also likely strike up a conversation with Mina and remember has Alien Queen.

SHE'S SO CUTE and anya would think she's so cool? like wow being a thrill seeker is so impressive and she can do all this cool stuff - is mina ready for some monkey see, monkey do because anya might just take after her in small ways if you're up for it! they're both high school students i think?
