AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. - Lived in Japan until three years ago
- Born into money. Crappy mom, absent dad, generally bad circumstances
- Ran away from home the night before she was meant to move to Tokyo to attend college, ended up in Recolle
- Works the counter at an arcade in Tisse
- She is super duper good at video games because it's kind of her only hobby.
- Has an online persona under the name MAJIN ✮ MARI where she streams @twitch, archives them @youtube and a twitter associated with the identity. She has no real degree of success because everyone's typically driven away from her by her bad attitude online, with her only regulars to streams being Edgy Internet Kids. She's that One Toxic Player who you're glad to have carrying your team until she starts badmouthing you all for sucking.
- She's a lot more aggressive and caustic online mostly to vent stress from IRL. Yes she knows it's bad don't @ her
- Also I lied, her side hobby is military history. Doesn't really talk about it much, but doesn't necessarily hide it.
- Big sister to both Yanagi odapologist and Kouran frostflowers

I was in game for a while up until recently so I have a more detailed info post here. Some details may change because I'm not quite sure of her living circumstances just yet, the apartment mentioned there burned down in like........July. I think.

LOOKING FOR:
- Her dad is basically a blank slate aside working a lot so they don't have much of a relationship. Owns a super successful game company if you're into that sort of thing.
- Dad Butler if you want a shitty faux daughter who would probably kill for you.
- The only other significant relationship was her ex, but she's dating someone else now so keep that in mind if you're maybe interested.
- MMmmmaybe her mom? I think she's too Bad™ to be played straight but I guess if you're interested in "sorry my marriage was failing and I took most of that out on you let's start over" reconciliation it'd be fine, but that'll...obviously take a lot of work. She hates her mom a lot.
- Aside from that generic rich classmates from japan/other upper class folks who might recognise her or have known her/people around the city who might know her. I'm honestly easy.

idk how close ties to the yakuza you'd be interested in, but Kiyoshi's yakuza lawyer dad has a whole lot of children, both legitimate and illegitimate, and some would probably not be yakuza members and instead manage legitimate businesses...so if you'd like an ex-low-ranking-yakuza now working at a tea house as an uncle, I'm looking for relatives for Kiyoshi.
