AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. I am quite sure I won't app before the end of the year, but wanted to try it out to see how it would go so I'm going to throw this guy on the TDM and see how this goes first (and check with mods if that would work out given my first character too).

I don't have much worked out for now, mostly that he's a somewhat well-known celebrity in he performing arts world, and that it might explain while he still dances onnagata roles at his age when they are normally reserved for younger males. He would also be teaching both the dancing and Kenjutsu at his family's dojo. Maybe he also does modeling for both traditional clothes and more modern styles.

Obviously from a wealthy family and he has a lot of brothers. Also a shameless flirt with absolutely anyone and everyone.

LOOKING FOR:
- possible reasons why he would be in Recolle.
- acquaintances and friends in his age range
- professional contacts
- ??? (seriously I'm just throwing him around for now)

Just giving you a heads up that there's another player with plans to app who has worked out a lot more details than I have (although they don't include dancing, sorry, Yuuri).

As I was just dropping him here on a whim to try it out, I'm bowing out for now to give them a chance of making plans and using the TDM for getting some real feel for the game so they can decided on whether to app or not.

That being said, I have a lot of PSLs with Jiji here, and that's an interaction I definitely wouldn't mind playing out some day, so if you're ever interested, hit me up, either on this journal or Tarou's!

Kasen's a bit older, so not quite the same age range, but a career in performing arts would be a big possible connection between the two, since Kasen is a bit (way more than a bit) of a renaissance man

As mentioned, below, turns out there's another player who's much more interested in apping Mikazuki than I am and has worked out a lot more details than I have, so I'm stepping back for now and won't be posting on the TDM for this round so they get a chance to try it out and see if they want to go through with apping.

I might throw him in later on just to see if I woudl enjoy having him in a game setting, though.

If you're looking for any family relations, Kiyoshi has a whole lot of half-siblings of a wide range of ages, and probably has a lot of nephews and nieces.

And/or, since he works at a tea house as a musician and knows traditional dancing, they could know each other that way, though Kiyoshi is a bit older than Mikazuki.

Hi there, thanks for the interest. It turns out there is another player who seems to have a lot more definite plans of apping the character and I really was just trying it out on a whim, so I would encourage you to go and make plans with them if you have plans on having long term CR with Mikazuki.

Since the other player is much more serious than I am about this, I also won't be posting on the TDM so they get their chances at actual character interactions and can decided about apping without interferences.
