AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER
Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU NAME: Natasha... something? I've still not picked a last name. Or Natalia? I'm leaning Russian but she is from fantasy Mexico normally so I might change my mind there.
AU AGE: 21ish? Maybe. I'm not totally sure here but later college and/or just out, I'm not sure which yet.
AU OCCUPATION: Most likely a casino worker with a friend of hers assuming we both app. Possibly still a student. ... Also a lot of activism some greenpeace shit.
BLURB:
- Unlike her Princess Status in canon she grew up poor here I think, was likely the "princess" of her her small town's festival every year or some Sakura Quest parody because that sounds funny to me.
- Moved to Recolle like... recently. She found a really good work chance and is following up on it.
- She's missing an arm! Specifically, she's missing her left one. I've yet to decide if that's going to be something she's born with or an accident but either way I think it'll be fairly old.
- She's high sympathy/caring but low empathy, though not quite as awfully two faced as in canon: basically she's that person who cares deeply for all her causes but can be kind of an asshole interpersonally. She means well though, genuinely.
- I want her in a bunny girl outfit because duh?
- ... not a lot of this is set in stone yet.

LOOKING FOR: Friends? People she grew up with or met in college? People she knows online but is meeting here? Activists? People who don't like her? People that know her from her work? Idek. (Also open to family if anyone wants )
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm not looking to come in until November. I'm really fond of the idea of playing Nachetanya now because I have a lot of fun with her but I have a handful of other ideas and this is going to be a one or the other thing. Like 85% her. The main question would be if I pull the trigger now or not.

Hi there so I'm Draconic, and I'm the noob who plays Kasen Ibaraki (Recolle Name: Katherine Takada) from Touhou.

Katherine is a Counsellor at RU whose missing a right arm, so I think it'd be pretty interesting for them to to have some level of familiarity. Also she's high empathy/mid sympathy: someone who cares too much to turn away but doesn't always get the actions right.

Honestly yes sounds like a hoot to me. Did you have something in mind? I'm not 100% sure yet how I/see will be handling her disability yet but there's plenty of ways for them to meet.

Well would she have any reason to see the school counsellor or something like that? Unfortunately I made the noob mistake of not giving Kath many starting entry points for CR, so I'm a bit limited.

Mmmmaybe, she does see herself as not needing the help in much of anything, but I can see her going there and commending her work? Of course there's always dumber angles - things related to the casino, some clandestine encounter before then, meeting up at a bar or some or another protest or like. idk I mean I'm thinking on having her moved here recently, I'm still thinking about my hooks.

If she's a casino worker majima could get to know her that way!

Damn skippy! It's a soft plan Cam and I had for a while to have her and Nozomi be old friends and to work at said friend's casino. I've not got all the details ironed out but yeah.

Jakotsu'd probably visit Nozomi's non-butt casino, so they might run into each other pretty soon after Natasha comes to Recolle. I'm not entirely sure how he feels about her because his feelings towards women are generally iffy, but I imagine he kind of gravitates towards other oddly dressed people and uh. Bunny girl. Uh.

So he'd be kind of antagonizing but they'd talk? And from there it kind of depends on how Nachetanya takes to that weirdo haha.

She might have known Kiyoshi online through his food blog? And then met/meet him irl through Friendly Dog Happenings because he has one of those.

I mean he did reach some sort of resolution to that at least... I'm so glad more people know Rokka.

SHE SHOULD PROBABLY HAVE A DOG TOO. Or she had one back home but the big uni-city apartments don't lend well to dogs she misses dogs.

That does sound fun though.

So am I. I used to play Hans some time in a game until it died but I didn't encounter any other players during the time.

Not one of those huge rabbits then? =3 There's always the animal shelter that she could volunteer at, and there's some senior dog sanctuary mentioned somewhere among this months workshop comments at least.

Honestly I'm still working out the details of her AU (like I said I'm aiming more for November than this month I just wanted to see if I could net some fun stuff early) but I feel like she'd be more of a dog person. That said, the idea of a huge rabbit is sort of hilariously on the nose so I'd consider it. I think either way she'd've had like a small army of pets like she does in canon back at the family home but not so much here.

... A shelter volunteer does totally suit her though.

nachetanya is SO GOOD! i read some of the translated light novels before they released official ones.

Oh yes, likewise! I got in with the anime and then i've read all the fan translated stuff and now I'm gobbling up the official releases. It's. Great.

... I mean we can plan something here too.

i could see Leon being happy to support her cause? but probably not 100% into it... he lives to be a nice, neutral businessmancat.

I need to figure out what cause she's most gun ho about, I've still not worked that out.

But sure that sounds cute.
