AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. AU OCCUPATION: uni student (pre-vet), volunteers, possibly an RA. if not an RA, probably works some job on campus like at the library or the bookstore.

☘ pre-vet but double majoring in bio and international relations
☘ an overachiever who cares about her image a lot
☘ tries to be or to at least seem responsible, prim, proper, caring, a do-gooder, etc. she simultaneously wants to be and doesn't want to be the mom friend, but she'll remind you of that exam you have soon, that deadline you have coming up, that you should eat balanced meals, will mend any torn clothing you have, will clean up any mess you have if you leave it too long in her sight.....

☘ in her first couple years of undergrad, she partied hard because she had no direction, didn't know what she wanted to be, didn't know who she wanted to be, and was so used to idolizing and imitating her sisters that that's what she ended up doing. had fake IDs, went by either Rosalie or Jessamine and depending on the name, she acted a little more like Rose or Jasmine

LOOKING FOR: oh, boy, give me anything
-anyone who's known her from childhood. be like a sibling or like a hated enemy?

- people for her to nag at, people to call her out for being too much of a tryhard
-people who can't stand her, people to be mean to her, people who want to bully her
-one night stands that she'll pretend never happened lmao
-maybe past relationships that didn't last long because she's a hot mess
-fellow volunteers, classmates, people who she'd know from the dorms
-she tries to be level-headed, but she also has a really bad temper that when her lid is flipped, it is FLIPPED, so anyone who wants to have been victim or witness to that is also great
-someone who she'll be friends with but secretly hate their guts (this is kind of specific, but i want it so much)

OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: i think i'm pretty set on apping her. i just don't know if i'm apping this cycle or the next

also how much do you think she keeps in touch with rose... i just think it'd be hilarious if rose is like, struggling to even maintain a civil conversation with jasmine while clover she NEVER STOPS HEARING FROM or something.

Okay so Rose works for Majima!! but also he grew up in the orphanage as well. he got in a lot of fights, you know, normal kid stuff

fighting is ok if it's for justice! if it's for fun or delinquency, it's wrong!! you have to do what's right and proper!!

clover's moral compass will bend for anyone she grows up with and feels close to, so it depends on how their dynamic would be. she might still lecture but won't have any disdain if they grew up friendly. otherwise, she'd just be overbearing and annoying probably. but reading majima's app, if it started out because majima was bullied, it'd more likely the former than the latter since i have it that clover would've been bullied a bit when she was young, too.

either way, she will be respectful to rose's boss since she loves rose.

Hi I'm here to sign Kiryu up as a one-night stand especially since he once slept with Rose and that's. Awful. However he used to be a skinny nerd so like if that's not her type, it wouldn't have happened. That's ok too. (All the more reason to pretend it never happened maybe??)

Kiryu is so calm and chill he could totally be friends with her while she hates his guts, I'M JUST SAYIN' give me as much negative CR as you could possibly dream of, Kiryu would still be zen and nice

clover doesn't have an exact type for one night stands (as long as they're not ugly and not a complete sleazeball), so i would be down for them having a one night stand that she'll pretend never existed.

JAN.... honestly, if clover finds out he slept with rose, she'd likely misplace her issues into thinking very poorly of kiryu. she does try to keep a nice and pleasant face on 95% of the time, though. one of her sisters in canon is a wholly good person who wants to take care of orphaned children, and four still finds bad things to think about her, so it could definitely happen.

Tifa here (she is Tiffany in this au) is Jasmine's girlfriend/childhood best friend and is an avid volunteer herself... so they'd at least know each other I imagine, though I am not sure if they'd get along or not

no, she won't be like that on the surface. she will (appear to) be accepting because that is what good sisters are supposed to do, and anyone who likes her sister and volunteers is a good person, so clover would be friendly with her, at the very least! clover was likely friendlier and warmer before tiffany and jasmine started dating, though.

but she's got her eye on you, tiffany... if you make jasmine upset, watch yourself.

iirc ryousuke was more responsible after his move to recolle and ditched his delinquent way, so clover will be friendly with him instead of maybe a little disdainful

Hi, my name is Luna! Jakotsu here is going to be the same age as Clover, so they could be acquaintances from school years (anything before end of high school where Jakotsu drops out), though I think this would veer more into negative childhood/teenhood CR.
Clover sounds like the type Jakotsu is irritated and kind of intimidated by, being a carefree delinquent himself.

He's also going to work at Majima's club, so he'd be coworkers with Rose for current we-are-aware-of-each-other relation.

jasmine pretty openly and grudgingly blames rose for clover's hard partying years, so that's probably been an awkward conversation they've had at least once. she keeps it to herself mostly but it's also kind of the first place she goes when they get into an argument about it. because...anger issues.
