More adult friends! Well, it can be hard to get Ren to admit to friendship but they can hang out/talk, anyway! He tends to admire ladies who know what they're doing, so as long as Rosalind doesn't mind how blunt/grumpy he can get I think it could be some interesting CR. (And then she can maybe learn about what kind of person he was in his past life and feel not so bad about her own?)

oh my god, yes, i'd love this cr! Ren is a mechanic, right? she could def have hired him to help her put together some Science Machines for her physics classes and that's how they know each other; she could keep calling him and they could talk during that and get to know each other better?

Sure! That sounds like a great way to start stuff. He's been in the city for a few years (about 5 or so), so she could have found an ad or whatnot however far back you like!

Whenever he figures out the physics lady who hired him is the same one as on Retrospec, he'll definitely be more inclined to keep up with her, too. He would say it's for practicality's sake, given the whole monster business and needing more allies. Excuses, excuses...
