I FORGOT TO ASK YOU THIS GOD but since shin's an engineering major, rosalind probably knows shin as "that student who made too many mecha-related projects/paper", and has taken some of her classes as a freshman :|a, but either ways i definitely want professor/student cr between them if you're fine with it!

More adult friends! Well, it can be hard to get Ren to admit to friendship but they can hang out/talk, anyway! He tends to admire ladies who know what they're doing, so as long as Rosalind doesn't mind how blunt/grumpy he can get I think it could be some interesting CR. (And then she can maybe learn about what kind of person he was in his past life and feel not so bad about her own?)
