In his AU backstory Peter is a rejected art school candidate by his own choosing because of LIFE. (He actually does canonically have a drawing hobby, which is almost even more tragic because his strength gets in the way of holding a pencil). I think kinda interesting if met someone devoted to the path he never took for himself. Though he's so forward and practical thinking, he'll probably won't connect the dots IC.
