on the one hand bucky will definitely also be excited. on the other hand he will also be fucking terrified. kiddo loves the thrill of using a gun but is kind of squeamish about the raw killing power of it so he's just constantly [ VIBRATES NERVOUSLY ] about the topic. please make him so uncomf about it.

technically speaking bucky should be desensitized to death by now but he's kind of a weenie and instead he's just mildly traumatized by it instead and trying to pretend he isn't HAHAHA W H O O P S don't worry though he'll get to the desensitization eventually
