They should beeeeee friends, Tatsuma's not really a responsible type but he does look out for folks where he can. Looking out for folks just does not stop him from also getting cheerfully dragged into possibly slightly illegal shenanigans.

And, yeah, martial arts is going to be a big thing with him, so he'll be a good sparring partner!

yes sparring bros! it'll be good to see them develop their skills on their own before super special abilities /previous fighting knowledge kicks in. and please look after Izuku he needs a lot of looking after.

It does occur to me that super strength/speed and so on are pretty much what Tatsuma's regaining, just not to the point where it destroys his body. Might be able to do something with those too once they do start getting them back.
