AU WORKSHOP - AUGUST Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? I love Carmen Sandiego and I'm so glad to see someone rping her..... and I'm also screaming at the mental image of Carmen pulling out all the stops on every date she goes on??? please teach Karen your ways, Carmen. or alternatively, let karen teach you how to DRIVE UNDER THE DATING SPEED LIMIT, CARMEN PLEASE
I'm down for preexisting cr! maybe they could have run into one of her charity fundraisers?? Karen is all for telling kids to stay in school, aite so she'll totally support the Sandiego foundation. but she's also kind of poor, so she might have been there as arm candy for some rich guy (karen's tastes also need work, please help carmen)

(i'm really excited for carmen's future development because pretty soon she's gonna get going and when she gets going she goes at full tilt)
But yeah, that sounds great! I like the thought that they met at some shindig or another and Carmen was wildly unimpressed with Karen's date and thus opted to just chat it up with Karen herself the entire time. LOWKEY RESCUES HER FROM HER DATE GUY, ETC, ETC.
