AU WORKSHOP - AUGUST Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. Goodness - well Baren here is a model now and has been in Recollé for the past three years! he's been rising on his way to the top and still manages to consistently get good work, but he'd probably still be defensive of anyone who criticizes Karen just bc baren is like that respecting women meme on twitter (but actually, he has a twin sister who would kick his ass if he ever let women get dissed in front of him)
so he can probably?? talk to her?? he doesn't take well to being a younger sibling but i feel like he'd like her enough to get coffee sometimes and even if he never talks about himself, he likes talking to her

Karen will think Baren is the sweetest, honestly??? thank you, baren's twin, for putting the fear of god in him... I like how his AU okuni is just as badass as she is in canon. and she won't be too smothering, she promises!! maybe rather than a younger sibling, she'll treat him more as a junior whose talent she respects. it takes a lot to become

but I'm laughing so hard..... aaaaa I'm so glad that you're canon familiar?! au Okuni truly is still an always badass. but this sounds so cute..... it'd be positive CR that Baren really needs and he'd default respect her and try to help her find happiness, UGH IT SOUNDS ADORABLE

YES I was really into donten ni warau and I ADMITTEDLY haven't read a lot of rengoku ni warau yet but the twins are already my favorite. and also sousei's shitty ancestor (because I spoiled myself looking at raws sweats).
I love all of this?? karen needs so much help in the happiness category. in return please LET HER HELP BAREN BE?? HAPPY??? as much as he can be when haunted by ni warau traumas
