AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Yeah it doesn't actually come with her avatar abilities so I'm like ??? how far can i go here. The thing with Granny Toph was also because of poison too so it's like ah... damn girl slow your roll.

Exactly! I didn't want to stray too far from how she is in canon near the start (as I'm drawing more from book 1/2 for personality) so it seemed more fitting.

Heh, that and Toph is Toph. That little shrimp was a badass. Generally, I'd say you're safe with the physique of a legit athlete. If you look at collegiate football, rugby or boxing/MMA types, they're generally pretty damned ripped and athletic, so she'll be plenty strong even if not unnaturally.

Athlete? Korra? Yeah, that was totally believable when I saw it. ^_^

Chloe here is on the one hand definitely drawn from her canon as a world-class teenage assassin (seriously, Japan?), because the character was always a meddler who loved flowers... but now she's an actual florist about to stat college... and totally struggling with the fact that she's apparently got all these skills she didn't have before.

That too. The best old lady imo. But yeah, that's what I figured!

Japan always knows how to make things interesting... That sounds like something that would be difficult to deal with icly, yes!

Yeah, she's been a basket case at times. Lots of "I hate that girl," and "I refuse to become her" talk, that sort of thing. Creepy assassin visions not helping, breaking up with her long-distance girlfriend and the like. She's sometimes completely together, sometimes just a confused wreck, though she's getting a better handle on herself.

Having a real chip on her shoulder about Retrospec helps.

Oh no... That is fair though, seeing that their lives are pretty normal in this place in comparison.

It's also good to have something as a grounding, yes! haha

Definitely. It gives her something to do most days. And yeah, even when things happen like them getting shrunk down to Honey I Shrunk the Kids level for an event, it's calmer than some of these characters' canons (Not Chloe's. hers just involves knives, guns and seriously questionable ethics.).

Either way, this sounds fun. If you hit up the TDM, give me a buzz. They can flee giant boulders together...

That does seem legit tbh. Some canons are just ????? Too crazy.

I have hit some people up on their top levels but I've been holding off doing one of my own as this week I will be in marking hell (I'm a teacher and it's the last school week so...) which is why I'm being tentative. If it looks like I have a good start on things by Wednesday I might post something though and I'll let you know if that happens for sure!

Not a problem. I understand about teaching. Here's hoping you can join the fun this app round, but don't let it overwhelm you.

In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out. (I know what you mean about getting overwhelmed with RP.)
