AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. This is all pretty tentative; I might not app this upcoming round because I'm in the latter half of a murdergame at the moment but heck, I'm looking for something new.

⚔ overachiever, probably got astoundingly high grades throughout school/university
⚔ wrt getting through school, he was probably a) the world's most terrifying RA b) tutoring in whatever spare time he had or c) all of the above
⚔ wherever he does end up working, he more than likely manages his job down to the last perfectionist detail.
⚔ speaking of perfectionism you know everyone whose ever posted pictures of food on instagram? he's basically that but More So. his food aesthetic game is legendary.
⚔ (surprise that's all i've got and that's why i am here)

LOOKING FOR: I'm not too picky--anything would be nice! Friends or enemies from school/university, possible coworkers, even just anyone willing to follow a blog that posts only quality content.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm going to level with you guys, I've never been great at working out detailed AU histories at all, so everything here is up to change and any/all input is 100% appreciated! If this doesn't work out for whatever reason, I also might be vaguely considering Kirei Kotomine from Fate/stay night (pending discussion with either cast, of course)

:|a that is also an excellent thought--even if he ends up more favoring a research career path with rosalind i can pretty much guarantee ignis is going to frequent the library regardless, so that's definitely a viable option!

So! Ardyn is a law professor at Recolle U, thus if Ignis hangs around the university, he may have seen the man around! Or maybe they're already acquaintances/friends? Just depends on the level of terrible we want to be, I suppose.

They will definitely run into each other eventually, though, especially if he becomes familiar with Rosalind! Since her and Ardyn are pretty good friends.

(Also they can quip back and forth with each other. Ardyn and Ignis repartee....all I ever needed in my life.)

BUT HI YES I do actually think we briefly met in Kit's plurk a little while ago about Chancellor Shitpost himself. I am totally on board with something to the tune of 'generally aware of each other/keep meeting through Rosalind'.

Because quite frankly, the snark is military-grade and something I am fairly sure I need like I need oxygen.

Please throw all the snark towards Ardyn. He can take it and maybe even toss it back in equal measure. HOWEVER it's all in good fun, because Ardyn is not nearly as terrible of a person (yet) in this au, so! They may actually get along with each other quite well.

Which of course may spell disaster in the future, but... well, that's fun too.

Soooo I haven't worked out Noctis' details either because I literally just found out I'll be able to reserve. I'm also terrible at AU histories, but I plan on making Noctis a spoiled rich kid either way.

If you wanna align things as a cast mate, lmk! We can work stuff out :)

I'm intending on apping this round for sure. Gonna see how the TDM goes but I know that Noctis will at least be from a wealthy family at least from another country or something. And he moved to Recolle for education or... something idk. I fully intend on him living it up and being spoiled by his dad.

If you want Ignis to have been a part of Noctis' life as some sort of guardian or whatever, I'm totally down

HELLO FRIEND yeah I think that I am definitely considering this in general, I am just a touch pressed for time this particular round! so as long as circumstances allow it is hhhhopefully certain I will be giving this a much less half-assed attempt by the time next round cycles by.

Either way, if this small lost chocochick requires someone to actually parent him I mean heck. I am all for this.
