AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. AU OCCUPATION: Law Student
BLURB:
Amadée here came over to the US with Estée a few years ago from France. He's dedicated, hardworking, and he really cares about his classes. He thinks he might do law as his career, might go into politics. He was groomed for it most of his life and he happily falls into step with this role.He was raised with money and he takes it a little bit for granted.
He has a decent apartment all paid for and has never had to go hungry. He was adopted as a few day old infant. He has a clue who his "real" parents are, but was unable to get the truth from his parents before they passed away in his late teens. He's a little out on his own because of that. Truth is, his birth father was a pretty shady guy who called in a favor for his illegitimate child to be adopted without a trace.
Amadée keeps super busy with his school and pre-career life. He participates in club activities, he tutors, and he is the more responsible person in his rental agreement. He could have a girlfriend (or boyfriend) if he didn't so obsessively pack his time with scheduled activities. It has him pretty stressed but he doesn't see there being another way about it.
Altogether he's easy to get along with, a leadership role sorta guy, helpful, and charming.

Lutha/"Lucas" will probably be getting into trouble with Estée on several degrees because of course he will but I'd love to establish something with Amadée. What kind of tutoring would he have been doing, and for what age ranges? Lucas is also up in the high socialite end of things due to his family and their connections, if that could be a link for them.

Amadée will be tutoring French, Maths, and History. He'll probably stick from late highschool through his peers. Amadée will totally be entrenched in rich kid and bourgie stuff. I hope they cross paths cuz of Estée's bullshit tho.

His parents were very elderly when they adopted him so I think a lot of his hobbies and interests are a little old-set for him. I am open to any ideas you have or if you're open to Adamska being a family friend through connections or Amadée just having grown up as a fan!

Young Estée was probably a heck of a lot like "Eli" from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I can see the little tyke balling his fists and putting up his dukes at Adamska while being like "I don't need no adult's help!" Just the thought makes me smile quite a bit.
Even in canon, Adamska has a slight paternal side to him that he tries to keep under lock and key. It's highlighted in Phantom Pain the most, so I'm actually eager to play this idea out.
Adamska will definitely be that strange old uncle that the two need around. Ha, I need to hit up the Estinien player for some ideas of how to wrangle this plot.

I can't wait for them to get Sunday brunch and try to wrangle estée into proper clothes for important type events. I hope ocelot gets to adopt some girls but if he can't maybe two boys can help fill that void.

Goodness, this must've been around the time Fission Mailed, that MGS dressing room was up and running. I know I very briefly played as Psycho Mantis once but I can't remember if I ever took him there. This is so awesome! I rarely get to meet other MGS fans. We're like rare these days.
Having Adamska adopt these two rascals will be rewarding within itself! Estée & Amadée. Gosh, I love their names. So French and adorably pompous.
The idea of Estée in proper clothing for once actually makes me laugh something awful. Gods, he's going to complain!

Anyway what do Adamska's days look like? Is he in filming currently or on a vacation or what? Does he have the kind of schedule where he would drop in on his sort-of sons?

No way. Just no way! Really? I remember "capslock_mgs" and the drama there about the rpers being around. So you're the one who made Fission Mailed? Oh, thank you for that! I remember cracking up at the threads in that musebox. Best time ever! I didn't play too often but I did venture in there every once and awhile as Mantis. It's been so long! I swear it's a lifetime ago. I wish I could remember more but all I remember is the hilarity.
Adamska just agreed to make the sequel to his hit film Sons of Liberty, so he'll start filming mid summer-ish. As of right now, he's more than free to suddenly drop in on these two rascals and check up on them.
LMAO! Lemme guess, Estée is the one with the pizza boxes and beer motif. Man, he's going to make him clean that mess up!

I'm so glad movie star uncle's career is still doing hot. Amadée, when not in public or if he forgets himself, can call him tonton Adamska. Tonton is a childish way to say uncle and funnily enough is also slang for a police informant or a snitch.
Look, Estée is the worst. He doesn't even use a sheet for his horrible beer and blood stained mattress on the floor. His bedroom is a goddamn crime scene.

Oh, Adam's career is still going. He's right up there with Viggo and Alan Rickman (bless that man's soul).
"Tonton!" Oh, that's just too precious. I'm all for Amadée referring to Adamska this way among family and friends. It really works well since Ocelot is a bit of a snitch canonly. We all know he can't keep his mouth shut~
A dirty mattress on the floor?! The heck is Estée doing? He needs an intervention today! Watch, the first misadventures will involve them going to IKEA or some mess. LOL
YES!!!!!!1111 I'm already working on this app! May ask you to check it out and, of course, I'm willing to extend the favor. Aymeric is definitely a favorite of mine and his tragic tale gets to me. Thordan was a horrible father but he somewhat wanted to do right by Ishgard in a twisted kind of sense.
I have no idea how I feel about Stormblood, the next expansion. That fight with the Griffin felt so lackluster. I swore he would be one of the main villains but then again, SE loves to make great characters and concepts just to flush it down the toilet. i.e The Scions in general. /rambles

WELL Faolan isn't technically all that bad off himself, though he lives very simply so you'd never really know. The money is very good, but really he's there because he likes the job, and he is good at it. Also he is good friends with Laurent's older brother Auguste (as much as a bodyguard can be without breaking the rules) so he feels something of a loyalty to him to keep Laurent safe as well. Though all these spoiled little rich boys running around creating trouble for themselves and making his OWN job (of keeping them safe) WILL grate on him a little. Tl;dr he is driven by loyalty, then the job, then the money. He would PREFER for the clients not to annoy him though lmao :|
