Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. if Lucas ever got forced to get a new suit recently, Marcell can provide! And uh, probably fussed a bit over 'could stand to gain some weight' if that is the case, I'm sorry.

Another option available is that Marcell could be a distant relative, since I mumbled some words before about his weird family situation and tl;dr he lived with a single dad who owns a modestly successful toy company. There's a pretty big age gap since he's in his 30s now, but he's kind of a naturally fussy and mom type person anyway soooooo.

Also he went through a similar Totally Not Straight experience when he was around Lucas's age, and would be supportive about that if he ever found out!

HI MORI!!!!! i'm so sorry in advance if i call Marcell Obsidian like 90% of the time I will try to be good

He would have ABSOLUTELY been in for tailoring or purchases like... a lot within the last year or so, between concerts and highschool graduation and just general upkeep of his black-tie stuff for his parents' affairs. He's not horrifically thin (that will come with a regain I'm sure) but he's definitely thinner than he should be, enough to be alarming to a mom!person that would be aware of his measurements lmao.

I think unless we get to crazy reaches of extended family, it's going to be kind of a stretch with the age gap. :|a Lutha's folks would only be in their mid fourties... unless there was an equally big age gap between their respective parents or something like that?? I guess it depends how specific you guys have the family dynamic set up right now since i know there's a bunch of you already with established AU to work with.

If it ends up being too complicated, at the very least maybe they can know each other's family names through business stuff since both of his parents are like REALLY INTENSE about making connections everywhere. Lutha himself isn't like involved At All with the family business, but if his parents have met Marcell or his family then Lutha has probably come up in conversation like "look at this shiny thing we made he's so talented" kind of garbage. :V

I don't have anything super specific set up, but for the sake of simplicity since the Matsuoka family is already kind of ridiculous in Recolle already let's say not! At least Marcell makes very, very nice suits even if he looks kind of old-fashioned himself.

It's possible they met Marcell's dad at some point, though he's probably winding down for retirement about now! And honestly if Marcell heard about that sort of thing from Lutha's parents he probably wasn't very pleased even if he was politely civil about it :V

Sounds good! Sorry about his folks, Marcell, they definitely aren't shy. Or possessing any decent amounts of shame.

IIRC Lutha would have been attending highschool the same time as Yukine unless i'm reading things wrong, though I haven't been able to talk to Kimmeh about if the two of them would know each other or not considering Lutha would have just graduated. :|a But I'll hit her up and we can delve into more details at some point, if you guys wanted to.
