AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. LMFAO look, if he actually manages to quote and cite lyrics in every paper he submits, she would genuinely be impressed. Of course, she'll be concerned and will talk to him about it, but she'd also highlight those lyrics and write comments like "I like this one!" or "I'll listen to this later!" or things like that

although i hope you realize he's just going to expand his lyrical repertoire in class. if she ever assigns a creative writing assignment, james will straight up send in lyrics he's composing for his band. i'm sorry

PLEASE maya is a huge believer of doing whatever you enjoy like kid, if you want to have a band and travel across the country to do tours then you do you. follow your dreams. maya will ask for autographs ahead of time in case james gets super big

seriously, as long as james is following the guidelines of whatever the assignment asks for, he could submit in his lyrics or some super emo angsty self-insert fanfic and maya would accept it. everything is free game in english. this is a class you should EXPRESS YOURSELF IN so it's all good

you can bet maya gets invites to all his gigs. he attaches them as postcards on the last page of every paper he submits. he rewards his devoted(?) fanbase(????) well.
