Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! she always liked detective stuff better than westerns but the whole "gritty sheriff against the banditos" genre gets her justice blood pumping even if she doesn't like to consider herself a fan

As much as I joke about him adopting a kid, he would be more than willing to show Naoto how to handle a revolver! He's the ricochet genius, a master at his craft.

Oh, Ocelot definitely played the role of the grizzled shrieff against a group of bandits before. That movie's name is gonna be "Peacewalker"! I need to make a fake IMDb for him.

She's probably seen it.

Please let him meet her at the firing range using a semiautomatic and tell her that she twists her elbow when she fires to absorb recoil.

Yes it will! Of course in canon she gets a bunch of different equippable guns but her "main" gun clearly is a police issue revolver of some kind. I've always headcanoned it as something like this.

A Smith & Wesson Model 10! That would be a good firearm for her and more than enough to get Adamska here talking about revolvers. He's going to introduce her to the greatest handgun ever made, the Single Action Army.

I think these two will definitely get along. He love to show Naoto the ropes as he gets more of his memories back. I have him in this AU already coming with weaponry knowledge since I can't take the "revolver" out of "Revolver Ocelot" to save my life. lol

Yes please! Let's have them bond over guns.

Frankly I'm surprised the recoil doesn't just knock her off her feet given how short she is.
