AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. AU NAME: Chiaki Morisawa (but you might know him better aS THE RED RANGER OHOHO)
AU AGE: 19-20
AU OCCUPATION: Owner of Children's Salon, Actor, Stuntman
BLURB: i can't believe that it always comes back to this but
☼ A GOOD BOY who was born and raised in Recolle?! actually a pretty normal childhood, he made the local news once for saving an injured dog out of a river when he was like 7 and other courageous acts followed
☼ clearly this is the good influence of TV because you will not find anyone who loves superheroes more than Chiaki?????
☼ had aspirations to be the Red Ranger since he could figure out how to make his arms pose
☼ has always been a big dreamer to the point of not listening to any common sense
☼ naturally athletic, tried his hand at all sorts of sports! basketball, baseball, volleyball, swimming, track, triathlons YOU NAME IT he wasn't part of any specific team while he was in high school because he was constantly being asked to sub in for different teams
☼ graduated recolle high 2 years ago! barely. his teachers are still amazed. me too.
☼ all throughout high school he was taking on small acting jobs - JUST TO BE ON THE SAME SET AS SUPERHEROES - and worked as a stuntman!
☼ instead of pursuing college, he got contracted to work in LA!
☼ AND YES HE GOT TO BE THE RED RANGER FOR ONE SEASON OF POWER RANGERS
☼ and he was one of those actors you see on stage at whatever the Disneyland equivalent is, bringing kids up on stage and making their dreams come true!
☼ so he's professionally been a space ranger, a cowboy, a warlock, a knight, you name it!
☼ those were the best 2 years of his life
☼ but an incident struck someone close to chiaki - one of his coworkers? - and rattled him enough that he hung up his acting career for a bit (details still being mulled over)
☼ returned to recolle witH DREAMS OF MAKING MORE DREAMS COME TRUE
☼ purchased an empty office space, now working on how to refurbish it into a small salon that turns kids into heroes!! available for birthday parties and whatnot
☼ REALIZED BELATEDLY HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO DO MAKEUP SO HE NEEDS ASSISTANCE
☼ save chiaki from himself
LOOKING FOR: ☼ IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP THIS FOOL REALIZE HIS DREAM, he'd be interested in helping hire help! Makeup artists, people who want to turn boys into pirates and girls into princesses (or boys into princesses and girls into pirates, Chiaki supports all of it), volunteers who just like playing with kids and staging little plots to engage them....
☼ people with actual business savvy to save him from himself.... please. he has a lot of dreams and goals but actually has no idea how to manage a business, he put all his savings into this
☼ girls for him to legitimately ruin his street cred with. he stops being able to talk if a pretty girl comes up to him please god help this fool
☼ SPORTS?? chiaki stops by the college on occasion, sometimes picks up a class in the business department he needs it, but often wanders toward the gyms and fields and loves to sub in during practice!! he's good at most of it.... but frequents basketball the most!
☼ old friends for him to reconnect with? before chiaki went off to be a bigshot, he obviously loved to make friends! if anyone wants to be childhood friends even, I'm very down!
☼ a therapist. he needs a therapist. he needs someone to convince him to see a therapist but also there's a shitton of repression going on here.
☼ fans? if you're into that kind of thing!! please come up to him and be like "oh man my little sister/brother loves you" and he'll cry
☼ ANYTHING REALLY i can't believe that this is happening i'm screaming

Yeah Magilou can totally help him get into the acting business on the financial side of things/make a fool out of him. I mean she will probably be pretty hard on him but this boy needs some brutally honest mentors in his life I think.
