AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. i'm here and boy do i have a lot to cover. please bear with me sarah because i'm down for this messy cr but there will probably be Details involved bc baren's Terrible

- so baren and his twin sister actively went out of their way to climb the ranks in Japanese high society for most of their life, but that ended about 3 yeas ago when they disappeared from the scene entirely. if you want to say that he and misa might've gone to the same school??? i'm down but also he looked much, much different. his hair was short and his personality was charming, amiable, and sweet. his name was the same though
- baren in recolle now is... what you know.... but tbh if he ran into misa amane at a party, he would've probably given some kind of story if she wanted an explanation for why he and his sister fell off the face of the earth and ditched japanese high society entirely
- also he's a model now so they probably run into each other that way too
- but basically he left japan because he and his sister are still actively blackmailing their father for everything he owns bUT HE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW THAT
