AU WORKSHOP - JUNE Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! I JUST SAW THE BODY GUARD AND LAUGHED, mary is like 5 feet tall and a hundred pounds soaking wet, please scruff her like a kitten and carry her away

i'm imagining like in class rivals, like a professor asks a question and laurent answers and mary's like "wELL, ACTUALLY" and it turns into a progressively more passive aggressive debate until one of them (both of them) get kicked out of class

Excellent. That'll make her even more mad. I feel like mary is probably the resident feminist ("DON'T BOTHER WITH BOYS" - an actual, real canon quote) who gets a liiittle too wild about her opinions every now and then in class so that'll make her even more mad.

He probably does? I mean within the context of his canon he's supposed to be super smart, but of course, THAT IS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF HIS CANON... which is like swords and horseback riding time. It's not like supernatural genius he's just a bookworm who enjoys tactics and strategy.

It isn't a competition though Mary you can just accept he's better that's fine.

THAT IS ACTUALLY PERFECT... mary's canon is about a school of really fucking rich people that gamble for fun and literally all of them cheat including her lol. it's about outsmarting people and outbluffing people!

so they should definitely get into a gamble of some kind and he could totally call her on cheating :3c

Why hello jumping in here as the aforementioned body guard. He's definitely not as big and imposing as he could be but there could definitely be scruffing of EITHER party really if the situation warrants it. Though as also mentioned, it's generally hard to ruffle any of Laurent's feathers.

She'd probably get to know Faolan in this regard, as Laurent's grumpy Irish shadow, following him around and sighing at him when he started to ACTIVELY CREATE trouble for himself.

but also yes that'd be perfect!! really she's a perfect lady until she... yk...picks a verbal (?) fight with this rich boy over here because she doesn't like losing to rich people

Oh he will completely understand. Laurent will no doubt make it easy for her to fight with him as well, I mean he all but asks for it. But it's his job to keep an eye out for him, so he's got no other choice but to side with him in public even when he's wrong. SORRY MARY.
