Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! AU NAME: n/a (i might pick a different name but i'm undecided)
AU AGE: 19
AU OCCUPATION: College student/part time kickboxing instructor.
BLURB:

♦ a sophomore in college, currently studying art history
♦ she's also pretty dang athletic and physically fit, and enjoys exercise
♦ grew up in a fairly dangerous area, with a high level of crime
♦ managed to get a pretty good scholarship to RU, where she's currently enrolled
♦ started to learn self defense from a childhood friend from her mid-teens onward, which helped her get a part time job as an instructor later
♦ very artistic even apart from her major in school; she loves to draw and paint
♦ probably gets really involved in a lot of school clubs tbh
♦ friendly and nice enough for the most part, but she can also be kind of stuffy and holier than thou/judgmental if she Disapproves of you
♦ fairly prideful and bad at showing any signs of weakness except in extraordinary circumstances
♦ Aan only child! her mother passed when she was very young and her father is mostly absent and not a great parent even when he is around; he's an unsuccessful businessman who has a Reputation for being pretty incompetent

Matthias isn't an art nerd but he's a writing nerd, and he'd probably hit her up for art stuff he can incorporate in the stuff he writes. But he's also an athlete (judo) and would be interested in knowing more about kickboxing.

Why hello, Faolan here is a gruff and grumbly bodyguard type with a secret heart of gold from an obscure book canon who is probably going to spend a decent amount of time at some gym or another, and/or just going for runs whenever he decides he is allowed the free time. It's possible they might run into each other somewhere along the lines there? Also his charge is currently in college studying business, so it's possible they might run into each other there too? If she needs that sort of awkward and slightly standoffish but gently protective older brother workout buddy sort HAHA

is she an on-campus instructor or what, 'cause otherwise I have a small dumb child that would sign up for (or at least spectate) classes

Lutha will be coming in as a freshman but has probably already had his nose into a bunch of the different clubs (mostly music and history but yknow) if we wanted to start from there? They could be judgmental of everything together and he'll just be Slightly Worse about it.
