Matthias is on the older side of "teen CR" since he's already entering college but if Kanan wants to talk about aquatic animals, he's so on board for this. She might even see him around the beach trying to look for said animals.

OR we could say they used to do that while he was in high school and even though he's in college now, he still drops by.

DOES KANAN LIKE MICE he's actually a mouse I MEAN -

YES! He can be a cool senior who has graduated, that's totally cool! Kanan basically lives at the beach and loves diving, scooba, and anything that involves the ocean so they could have bonded over this and hang out in the summer and send each other pictures of weird starfish like "Look!! This one has 6 legs!!"

I MEAN I DUNNO ABOUT MICE, MY GUY, she's probably not... afraid of them... but a little like "um. please go hom, mr. mouse........" love to all creatures but the lands ones are not as cute, y'know
