Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! AU NAME: Junpei Tenmyouji
AU AGE: 24
AU OCCUPATION: Rookie cop, with his eye towards becoming a homicide detective
BLURB:
- Born to Japanese-American parents living in Recolle and grew up in the city
- Idolized superheroes like any child would, and decided at a young age that he wanted to help people
- Eventually realized that his physical skills weren't exactly up-to-snuff to do serious rescue work (especially without superpowers), and wound up becoming more interested in working in law enforcement (thank you television)
- Went to Recolle University, graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice, and recently got a job as a newbie cop. Currently aiming to work his way up the ranks
- Will, when asked, say that his motivation behind going into homicide is so that he can make ~~CSI: Miami~~ generic cop show knock-off-esque quips in real life. He's (mostly) kidding.
- On that note, he enjoys making puns. A lot.

LOOKING FOR: Detective mentors, cop buddies who will pull his ass out of the fire when he rushes in headfirst, friends, former classmates, ex-girlfriends, maybe a roommate with whom he can have wacky hijinks? Honestly, I'm open to pretty much anything here.

OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: It'll probably be this one or Peko Pekoyama from Super Dangan Ronpa 2.

AKIRA WILL DEFINITELY GET into some trouble in the future, so they may be seeing each other if Junpei will handle the small stuff at the beginning.

he will also have a pun off, if that's what you're looking. it will kill me ever so slowly, but the things you do for RP.

HE PROBABLY WILL, he's starting from the bottom and working his way up. So if Akira needs someone to bust him for petty crime (especially while trying and failing to be intimidating), Junpei could be your guy.

Also yes puns, bring him your puns.

hey he isn't bad to the bone, just maybe not in the right places... being out past curfew for his age. might have blown up an abandoned building by accident...

small things

there's also being wrongly accused for doing the right thing sometimes, taking the fall for kids stealing candy from stores. please help.

you may not be intimidating, but you can be the Good Guy, junpei.

He can be sympathetic for curfew violations and false accusations, but explosions... (unsure)

Tatsuo works in the crime lab, so they'll meet eventually! Bring Tatsuo your evidence pls.

He will be the most excited to drop off evidence at the crime lab (real cop work!!!), so Tatsuo can have all of his evidence.

if you bring the lab techs donuts, they will process your things first. i mean...

Donuts are the lab's preferred means of bribery: copy that.

Man there's a joke here, he just knows there is...

A rookie cop, hm? I know my other character Fynn ~~Rygdea~~Izunia would love to meet him! The two of them can be "rookies" together. Much like Junpei, he only recently joined Recolle PD but he has a few months in already.

Although, I have to ask---is Junpei at all interested in old school westerns or military thrillers movies?

Fellow rookie!! Junpei'd be glad for someone to commiserate with.

He's probably not a huge fan of either, but enjoys a good spaghetti western now and then?

Fynn and Junpei are going to get along better then! For once, Fynn won't feel like the odd one out. These two can definitely hangout and work together.

He's been off doing his own things as of late but I can park him in some of Junpei's future logs and such. One thing though, does Junpei like cars by any chance? Fynn loves cars and likes to tinker on them on his off days.

Sounds good! We'll see if I app him this round or a later one, but either way he'd definitely appreciate a work buddy.

Hmm... he probably doesn't know a whole lot about them, to be honest? :|a But probably likes anything that goes fast and/or looks cool, on a very basic level.
