On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. ✩ Born in the great American South
✩ Grew up a devoted Baptist, very active with the church, sang in the choir
✩ Parents didn't have a lot of money, but they had a small farm and got by
✩ Applied to both Seminary and Recolle U, but figured if he didn't get into either he'd join the military as a last resort
✩ Managed to get a sizable scholarship at Recolle U! Yay! (in the schrodingers cat version of this scenario, surely one booker out there joined the military and one is a priest)
✩ At school he did surprisingly well in history, and just kept going with it so now he's a history professor nice job dude
✩ Plays in a bluegrass band please come see him
✩ REALLY wanted to be a dad, didnt really find a good relationship, ultimately adopted an adorable daughter named Anna (she's somewhere between 7 and 10), touch her and he'll kill you tbh
✩ Anna is beautiful and good and will be protected at all costs
✩ Please let him tell you about his beautiful daughter Anna he loves her so much
✩ He really likes to get involved in committees?? hes in a bunch at the uni and also hes a PTA DAD hell yes he is

I MEAN REALLY we've talked a lot about this, I am in love with the idea of these two being vaguely friendly right up until shit goes down in the history vs physics department, and also she's fond of Anna because how can you not be fond of Anna.

I HAVE A STUDENT AT RECOLLE U he'd probably be super interested in history even though this history does not contain heroic legendary mouse warriors or lost swords or riddles.

Matthias could probably hit him up and talk to him after every class to get more information that he can use since he's a writing major and he takes being historically accurate very seriously when he has to be historically accurate.

wow there are maybe not mouse warriors but these are definitely those other things you mentioned!!! although, he most teaches american cultural history so not so much on the fun lost swords and riddles but the wild west is fun???

but that'd be great he'd honestly be so happy to have a student who cares he'd talk his ear off

RIGHT SO-- john's from the south (well, oklahoma), raised on a farm and attends church occasionally, so he'd be pretty thrilled to meet someone from a similar background! idk if he'd have class with him as he's on the GED track, but they could probably be acquainted through the uni anyway...
