yes!!! hmmmm yuuko and her family moved to recolle from japan when yuuko was younger, so yakuza dad might have died before that? i've kept the timeframe ambiguous for others to work with.

i guess when kanoes moved to recolle, they supported his day job because her mother was into flowers

then her mother died, but yuuko kept going there... ?! yes

Ambiguity helps! Kojuro hasn't been in Recolle too long though and I want to say the death isn't too far back, like at most 5 years? But Yuuko and back then her mom can still like the gardening store itself, so she meets him that way! Also that's really cute.

I'll say that back in the day the two dads were close or something, because him having health issues is something he'd want kept under wraps?

so yeah Ami is a little younger than the rest of the homestucks thusfar, so I don't know if she and Vriska would have prior CR? but Ami's a minor YouTuber (it's a makeup channel haha) so if there's been any big internet drama surrounding Vriska then she might have some peripheral knowledge of it :o

Yeah absolutely! Looking at it he's going to wind up slowly befriending a handful of high school kids so I think that would work perfectly fine? They have personalities that will mesh well, too, so in meeting Sora he'll be more prone to still chatting with him and everything anyway and it'll just build as they discover common interests. It'll be fun!

OH MY GOD LAUGHS. please though? the troll movies are hilarious and I want them both to just puzzle those out together. have I mentioned their friendship is important to me because it is.

throws a rock at august and impatiently waits. we can talk about it more later down the line too but I think study buddies + movie buddies is a super-good route. maybe they end up meeting bc they get stuck on a group project together for one of their shared classes or something if karkat isn't living in the dorms or anything

A good girl. Also that sounds about right, John doesn't really care much about age differences for friends either? He might even seek her out himself if he gets wind of what's going on but he'll be all over and with Aradia being Aradia they'll get along fairly well, I think.

> Has two older brothers and one younger sister from his father's marriage, and some more illegitimate siblings around the place. Also has half-siblings by his mother's husband.
> Mother died when he was four. After her death he was placed in the care of one of his father's other mistresses, a geisha. Has her surname, considers her his mother, not his biological one. Met his father very rarely growing up.
> Was taught how to play the koto and the shamisen by his mother, and to dance.

I don't have anything super specific set up, but for the sake of simplicity since the Matsuoka family is already kind of ridiculous in Recolle already let's say not! At least Marcell makes very, very nice suits even if he looks kind of old-fashioned himself.

It's possible they met Marcell's dad at some point, though he's probably winding down for retirement about now! And honestly if Marcell heard about that sort of thing from Lutha's parents he probably wasn't very pleased even if he was politely civil about it :V

Oh my god, you know it. I read and loved your AU workshopping, i just hadn't moseyed over yet.

His parents were very elderly when they adopted him so I think a lot of his hobbies and interests are a little old-set for him. I am open to any ideas you have or if you're open to Adamska being a family friend through connections or Amadée just having grown up as a fan!

Oh goodie! I'm glad you liked what you seen so far and what excellent usage of the word "mosey"! I've been fine tuning everything and I'm more than willing to have Adamska be ferried off to the US much later if that means his family could be chummy with Amadeè's.

I want to say that Adamska here met and worked with Ann's mother in the old 1986 film Snake Eater, his first official movie that branched him out into stardom. Would that be alright with you? I'll need a name for her and a brief synopsis of her mother's kind of work.

He'll be shocked as hell to know she had a daughter all these years later. Ann probably favors her famous mother a little.

Why hello, I have a fellow security guy to offer as a gym/jogging buddy for you! Faolan here works as private security/a personal bodyguard for Laurent Duvere (another PC who will be apping in this run), who is the youngest son of a French media mogul family. He too is trying (and failing) to keep his young charge out of trouble, running on caffeine, grump, and snark, and being a secretly decent guy with a heart of gold. (Who is actually a former bard turned assassin/spy/bodyguard for the king in his canon himself...)

I think their CR could be really interesting and fun though!! :)a they could have a lot of cathartic complaining sessions about their similar positions/problems, I feel.
