BARHOPPING There is only one way to deal with this day: a bar. As such Tony slips inside in his expensive suit and takes a seat at the counter, pulling an hundred from his inner pocket. "Bourbon. Rocks. Just keep it filled."
The television barks and Tony looks up at the set mounted on the wall. ...It's the local dog show. Because of course it is. His hand goes over his eyes and he groans as a giant preying mantis jauntily takes the show floor. As soon as that bourbon's in his hand it's going right down his throat.
LATER BARHOPPING "I'm almost getting enured to this. Sure some of them are poisonous and will probably kill us in our sleep, but—" Tony's words are a smidge slurred as he lifts a caterpillar into his lap and pets the fuzz on it. "Not even my silk bed sheets can compare to this. Have you felt this? Come on. Here you go. Hands out."
Because that is certainly Tony passing a giant caterpillar over to you. Um...
FLOWER WREATHS Tony's doing the meet 'n greet schmooze. As such he's got several flowers between his teeth as he wraps more together to make a flower...something for a small child. Might want to warn him about the thorns before—
"Ow!" And now there are flowers everywhere. Whoops.

CLOSED TO CHLOE When Tony had sat down in this scholarship interview he wasn't really expecting anything other than another nervous kid. It's not until he's taken a sip of his coffee does he choke and have to set it down. This kid. This kid.
Hadn't he just seen her not an hour ago at his book signing? He vaguely remembered something about signing her cover and telling her to buy copies for her friends. Some banter about how he loves meeting young fans, youth is the future of America, blah blah blah. What did she say her name was? Carol? Kristie? He coughs to try and cover his little choking fit. Picks up her file and shuffles some papers.
"So. You're interested in the Carter Scholarship." More shuffling. "The scholarship is an extensive program. We offer financial help to a diverse field of majors. ...And the scholarship is all you're here for. Right."
