Sounds great! I'm mostly putting Kiryu's dad in jail so it can match his canon dad-figure (his real parents are deeaaaaad and were actually killed by his dad figure... YEAH the bar's way down there) so it's not a huge deal to muss around with whatever, we can give them as much or as little pre-established CR as you want.

It'd actually be pretty funny for them to be long-lost step siblings, one day Kiryu's dad calls him like "oh I heard my daughter moved to Recolle recently" and Kiryu's like !!??!??!??!

The sad thing is I'm not sure who's set the bar is lower, his dad or Yuuri's canon one who manipulated her into brainwashing people to sell as tools...clearly this means this family match up was meant to happen.

Less pre established cr could be fun as they'd have to figure out this whole 'long lost sibling' thing! Yuuri's going to be equally ?????? about it when she finds out. SHE HADN'T PREPARED FOR THIS DEVELOPMENT. I mean, she'd be ecstatic but first she's probably going to freak out a bit.

Just imagining the sheer amount of confusion that'll come with this being dropped on them seemingly out of nowhere makes me laugh.

ah, awful dads....... they have so much in common! Kiryu will be a better dad for both of them one day.

That sounds great to me! Kiryu would absolutely love having a younger sibling, once he figures out what to do (like does he have to feed her? buy her birthday gifts?? how do kids work.) Maybe they can have each other's names written down somewhere but haven't really been too compelled to seek them out or are like "no way I'd ever actually talk to or find this person" and then they see their names on Retrospec like OH.... NO...... and the awkwardness and hilarity starts there?

They can bond over terrible dads once regains start happening!

Kiyru, please. She's 13 not 3. She's fairly low maintenance...especially since she'll spend most of her time trying to not ask for too many things (she has some idea that older brothers are suppose to take care of little sisters but she doesn't want to be a pest. HOW MUCH ATTENTION CAN SHE ASK FOR?)

In that case, they've probably had minimal to no contact prior to Yuuri's mom separating with their dad. Or, until now really. She's probably spent all this time imagining what he'd be like though. (I haven't quite figured out what she thought he'd be like. It probably changed from time to time as she grew up.)

Yes!! Kiryu really... looks up to his dad in canon despite him being awful so having someone to be like "actually, that's fucked up" is exactly what he needs...

Look, he will try to be the best big bro possible if that means buying her things or running her errands, that's what he'll do. Just don't ask him to cook dinner, he's not regaining his A+ ramen cooking skills for a long time (Yakuza is a weird game)

That sounds good to me! Go with whatever you want, Kiryu's going to be a boring, mild-mannered guy for a long time... so feel free to go as crazy as possible. He'd probably imagine a little sister like... tiny and in need of protecting (boy will you be surprised, Kiryu)
