AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. HEY so Kouran is a couple of years younger than Ran and is also a Kyoto kid herself + raised by very traditional parents, so she could have met him in the tea shop back in Kyoto?

HELLO, oh my god I would SO LOVE THAT, you have no idea. And they both have orchids in their names, too...!! I'd be fine with them being friends back in Japan actually, of course if you're cool with it as well!

Yes please be one of the few friends she had back home!!

That said he would definitely know she's hella sheltered, she was chaperoned constantly in Japan because her parents are overprotective of their baby girl. She has lukewarm feelings over tea ceremony (but not tea, she likes tea perfectly well) but she enjoys ikebana a lot more.

I'm laughing at the idea of Ranmaru having nightmares starring her chaperone, if looks could kill he'd be dead already...yet he won't know why would she give him The Look.

They could practice ikebana together in Recolle too? Or, more like, Kouran would give him pointers because while he enjoys it, he's rarely satisfied with his own arrangements.

Also please consider these two discovering new things together? Like western sweets etc??

I'm sorry Ranmaru this happened to you.

She'd totally be willing to help him with ikebana, in fact she'd be quite happy to!! How long would he have been in Recolle, since Kouran would have been living there for about 7 months or so?

Also yes please let them discover western sweets and pop culture together, they can both be amazed and confused.
