AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. CHARACTER: Nunnally Lamperouge / Nunnally vi Britannia
CANON: Code Geass
AU NAME: "Nelly Lancaster" aka Helen Dianne Windsor
AU AGE: 16
AU OCCUPATION: Transfer Student? Lady In Hiding?
BLURB: Nelly will remain blind and wheelchair bound as in canon, though Nelly believes she was always blind and in a wheelchair. Her father would have been a member of the House of Lords in Britain, but then tragedy strikes and she must be whisked away for her own safety. (Little does she know that he staged the whole thing in an elaborate ploy.) She is only aware that she must be secreted out of her homeland due to the incident that happened to her as a child, and that it is common for traumatic moments to become fuzzy after the fact, which is what happened to her. It would have happened over 10 years ago, after all, so right now her biggest challenge is convincing other people that at 16 she can possibly do more than they expect of her. She would retain some slightly enhanced sensation in her hands (in canon she has a kind of lie detection power), thus her favorite hobbies include things you can do while sitting at a table: papercrafts, needlecrafts, and the like. She knows Braille and would be an avid listener of audiobooks.
LOOKING FOR:
1) A brother/sister who went into hiding with her - possibly very overprotective, possibly more understanding than Lelouch was in canon
2) Long lost siblings or distant cousins
3) A nursemaid/butler/volunteer from the school she's boarding at... who looks over her (and possibly her sibling too)
4) Classmates - she'd be at a special/expensive boarding school that caters to "her needs" (and allows the Watcher to keep close to her at all times)
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I don't normally AU even in PSLs so dipping my toe in here with a character I can devote to a small CR pool and not feel too guilty about it as I find my way. IDK if I'd even app, even though I know a lot of people in game... Help? Tips?
