Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. - from england! she comes from a big family, lots of sisters, they were all very loving
- she was in the progress of going to university while there
- she also was in a pretty long relationship! talks of marriage was in the air... until the dude just suddenly dumped her
- annie was p devastated and, being dramatic, decided she needed a brand new start in life so she dropped out of school, packed up her bags, and moved to the us
- she was about 20?? when this happened, and she spent some time going from place to place in the us until she finally settled in recolle at the age of 22, so she's only been in the city for two years.
- annie isn't sure if she wants to go back to school yet or not but she has been bouncing from job to job? she keeps defaulting to being a nanny, but when she hasn't been doing that she has jobs at bars and stuff
- EXTREMELY FRIENDLY like the kind of person who will start chatting you up in the middle of the street as if she has known you her whole life? also very gossipy
- a gigantic tea fanatic so you will often see her at tea shops and cafes and she is 10000% judging their tea and mumbling "this is nice..........but mine is better"
- she is extremely flirtatious so if you're single and in her age range and cute she will definitely be like ~~~~hello
- very superstitious and refuses to mess with anything about the occult
- let her mom you. she will adopt you and you will be her child and she will love you.

LOOKING FOR: ANYONE!!! friends, maybe family??? i'd be down for saying she moved to recolle because she had family members who lived there or something... old coworkers cause if she has bounced around jobs then she probably has a ton of these. neighbors? LITERALLY ANYTHING

Please be Neri's mom... her own mom is barely ever home, and Neri has sometimes forgotten to eat or hydrate. She can cook but pls... Neri needs an adult lmao

annie will smother her in love tbh... she's super affectionate

does Annie want a grumpy werewolf cousin?? He can even be a roommate if she so chooses (or her brother, if you wanna go that route - I haven't pinned down his history so I'm up for anything).

the only thing i can see, tbh, is that he is v Catholic but not in a holier than thou way, so would she be okay with the crosses and/or him being devout?

she'd be okay with it!! she believes in faith too but she isn't like.... very religious about it, but she wouldn't mind someone else who is

excellent ;; Tyler wouldn't go around shoving it in her face, either. for him it's how he gets his anger under control so it's more... meditative than anything?

ME TOO this definitely helped me decide to go with annie?? i have karkat here already in game but i lack any type of family cr with him so getting to do that with these two is. very exciting?? FAMILIES ARE SUCH A FUN DYNAMIC

agreed!! Original flavor Tyler is an only child too so it'll be so nice to see how he gets along with family ;o;

YEAH!! i am actually canon familiar with tvd so when i saw tyler i was like "holy crap"

oh snap!! I'm less familiar with being human than I'd like to be (so i'm gonna see if i can get thru the first season), but I am glad in the sense that I won't have to explain so much ;o;

HAHA it's fine. just know that there are two versions of the show, one made by syfy and another by the bbc and annie is from the bbc version

Fai is a bit older than Annie (very early thirties) but he's another super friendly, super flirty mom-type, he's going to school with Annie's cousin looks like? and he could really use some female friends. Would Annie possibly have use for a super cheerful, gayer-than-Christmas friend? :)

SHE DEFINITELY WOULD the slight age difference doesn't matter annie will befriend anyone?? i think she and fai would be really adorable friends honestly

...oh gosh and Annie is super tiny isn't she? Fai's like 6 feet tall they're going to be so mismatched it really will be adorable I love it :3

I'm cool with having them know each other through Tyler if you are! I think it's too convenient to waste, especially since Fai's always busy with work and school. He's going to tease and mess around with Tyler because he loves to try to cheer up grumpy people, maybe he and Annie realized at that point how similar they are and hit it off?

Well, isn't this interesting. Émilie just happens to have a fondness for tea herself, in fact they could run into each other in the tea shop she likes to visit.

this totally works out for me!! like i said annie is super... friendly... so she'd have no problems just chatting to emilie a lot whenever she sees her
