• grew up outside of recolle wanting to be a police officer like his dad until his dad got dead
  
• got persuaded into following "more intellectual pursuits" by guidance counselors or w/e in highschool
  
• made a horrible mistake and became a math teacher after an accelerated college study
  
• got hired by a school in recolle; moved, has been here for like 7 months or something
  
• hates his job but still puts 110% effort into it
  
• still listens in on police radios; finds it soothing
  
• volunteers as a "big brother" for one of those local... big... brother programs for teens
  
• still has a stick up his ass
  
• still the most idealistic dude you'll ever meet (dad taught him well)
  
• still has the most freakish scheduling imaginable

ok so. in recolle, yata is a cop?? yata and kunikida both have dead cop dads but i think it'd be interesting to have them meet because yata went the complete opposite direction and became a cop despite everything...

also yata's mom (cherche) is maybe the highschool home ec teacher SO.

SO... i have no idea. maybe kunikida's listening on the police radio one day and he hears yata report an incident about his student or something. kunikida rushes to the scene and ??? actually idk i'm canon blind, i just know bsd is just full of superpowered mafias.

i just got into bsd so im gonna demand cr, i'm just not totally sure,,, how, mista was the world's shittiest student in hs but i think they would MOSTLY have not overlapped timewise as he just graduated. so my thoughts are either the worst-matched big brother ever or a (briefly) former student who pissed kunikida off so much he was like screams after eternally OR kunikida got swept up in one or another of mista's job and/or lovable rogue shenanigans somehow

what grade of high school math will he be teaching? mafuyu, i'm planning to be in her second year, but she doesn't like math, or school, or kunikida most likely haha... but she'll need one of those controlling teachers if she's going to learn anything at school
or she could be part of the big brother program, if you have an upper age limit in mind for it? she's 16 but her parents are kind of uninvolved in her life so she's taken to not going to school and just messing around outside a lot P:

I...need Kunikida CR because authors and also because it's Kunikida. Not that Koutarou knows his Kunikida much in canon but anyway. Koutarou goes to Chuuya's bar at times and is also Chuuya's cousin so there's chances for them to have met there.

And if he wants to know a guy that follows random cats around, I have an Algira on reserve who does exactly that.
