HELLO I also have a history nerd that likes to hit people with long pointy things--

but no okay REAL TALK Yamato is really interested in history as well! It's probably like... one of two subjects he actually cares about in school and he'll probably just keep taking history classes instead of, y'know, core requirements, oops. He has a part-time job at the library in the children's section but when he's on break he's in the history section a lot, so yes... he doesn't do fencing, but he does do kendo and he'd probably be interested in watching at least, if that matters!

LBR Ramsey would also just do the history thing which is a reference to FFT being told as a flashback from historical records if he didn't. Want to be super smart. And strong. And be a proud man to make everybody proud of him.

But library pals sounds hella rad. Don't mind that Ramzey is very quiet but also doesn't mind telling things as he sees them. He's trying, okay. And he would be fascinated by kendo as well, and probably want to study the techniques and differences, so. Yeah. This sounds great, you've got a friendly boy.

RAMSEY IS A GOOD... yams is just lucky his parents support his dream of All Kendo All The Time because otherwise he'd definitely be the family disappointment lmfao god. BUT YES... he's got no filter and barely any sense of tact so if he saw Ramsey reading some history book or something that he's interested in he'd totally strike up conversation!

i approve of this so hardcore
