I'm trying to decide if Eleanor and he would've bonded over being robot/engineering nerds when he was rapidly passing by her in high school, or if she would've been jealous of how insanely smart he is.

Cause she's got a gift, but it's just for engineering really. He's got it all. ...seriously no idea how this would go hmmmm.

HMMM...well! For the most part he was raised outside of Recollé and actually attended high school in San Francisco, so he didn't even make the move to the city until he was already starting in college. On the other hand I could see them just being engineering buddies, maybe they end up meeting at some expo or something, or they both show up at the same place looking for robot parts and kind of hit it off that way and he's just careful not to bother revealing his age just yet. He's very smart but he'd absolutely love another engineer to bounce ideas off of since he also likes to just build things and sometimes his projects are bigger than his capabilities smh

This is what I get for half-asleep skimming, clearly!

But yes I actually like the met some other way thing. What year is he in at college? Maybe he was in the engineering department when she stopped in for a tour or something, or...just when she poked her nose in she has done that at least a few times I'm sure...

Heeeee is a sophomore right now! Started last year so yeah he's in his second year and easily could have just been screwing around in one of the labs or something if Eleanor was doing a tour. I'm sure RU probably doesn't mind the publicity of having some of its best and brightest students showing off their work and stuff. But let's go with that, yeah, they met in a completely different way like that!

Now they need to build a robot. Or he needs to help her build her little security drone.

When in doubt, the answer is both, man. Let them do both.
