AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! Yeah, that sounds great! It's safe to say Makoto would have mentioned his cousin Kaz so they could definitely have exchanged pleasantries and such. Kiryu would be the kind of guy to like, quietly keep an eye out all of Makoto's friends... he cares.

being poor is rough, but rice is also cheap and less likely to give you a heart attack from sodium content?? chiyo will give makoto rice balls to give to kaz.

for a game called yakuza, you actually spend most of the time... not being a yakuza. poor kiryu's the nicest, purest usually ex-Yakuza the world has ever seen.

hmmmMMMmmm I mean that's true, but rice requires... cooking... Kaz will accept all forms of free food tho, Chiyo is a good soul. one day when he's regained more of his dadness he'll totally return the favor

i just googled the game. what a good guy to accept a 10 year jail sentence for a crime he didn't commit.

she doesn't want makoto's family to die of a heart attack. that'd be very sad, so she's glad he accepts this free food. someone should gift him a rice cooker someday.

kiryu will do... anything for his friends....... anything..... (it's actually very sad because 0, the game I'm taking him from, is the prequel to the first game so you get to see him be bros with the bro who would later betray him and actually do the crime that kiryu goes to jail for, it's all very dramatic and great. also there's. a lot. of mini-games.)

that would probably solve their problems tbh makoto definitely brings him his mom's onigiri sometimes so we're almost there... you gotta grow up big and strong, kiryu..... how else will you save your orphanage from a CIA takeover...

His orphanage was in Okinawa which has an American military base on it so OF COURSE the CIA tries to buy out the land that Kiryu's orphanage sits on so they can expand the base... Because of course they do.
