Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. History!! Do you think he and Robin could have been in the same classes?

That's difficult to say. Robin is switching careers from being a military chaplain in an overseas medical unit (think M*A*S*H), so I figure he did lots of his extended course work online. I'm still working on the details, but I think he's one of those insufferable people who had most of his initial degree completed by the time he finished high school, and then he wanted to go on to get another degree

That said, it's entirely possible they could have had courses together if Abdul did any online work!

If Robin is studying library science, they could have met at some point at events or meetings or whatever. Maybe he presented at the library science conference in Recolle.

Or definitly attended it, since archival work is what Robin was getting his second degree in. They could have met fairly easily like that.

Robin should intern at the museum and Mohammed can talk all about the cool books they have there.

Heh. Yesss. He probably helps keep track of certain portions of it, since he's also got ties in the religious field-- and who doesn't want to look in a religious archive at some point?

YES LET THEM DISCUSS THE INTRICACIES OF THE RELIGIOUS ARCHIVE IT IS EXTREMELY INDICATIVE OF THE AREA'S CULTURE AT A SPECIFIC PERIOD IN TIME AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN SOCIETY.

It's part of why he entered the field in the first place-- that and wanting to pay forward the help he received when he was a teenager. It all works out.
