AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. Neri could have been the former student of Ainsley! She's an elementary school teacher and she really does believe in encouraging her students in following their passions and interests when they're with her. She would have adored Neri's passion for swimming and cheered her on - If you're cool with them keeping contact long after she's left her classroom, of course.

And, on a serious note, she would have asked how Neri was doing and done her best to support her in her choices if it was best for her well-being. So she totally would have understood dropping out of the swim team and cheer her up if people tried to make her feel down for it should that ever happen.

That's perfect, tbh! Neri would let her know too that "oh yeah mom hasn'r been home in a few days nbd!" because to her it's not that big of a deal. /facepalm I like this a lot! A more stable adult presence in Neri's life would mean she's more comfortable being on her own, because there are people she knows she can talk to now and then. Is there anything she could do for Ainsley?

This gives Ainsley more reason to check up on her and try to get her meals and stuff if she ever learns about this. She'll be so worried but try to still give Neri space because she can look after herself but but but she's always there for her okay?? She honestly doesn't want anything in return - Just knowing she's doing well and them keeping in contact with each other is enough for her!
