AU OCCUPATION: College Student; econ major
BLURB:
- it's almost 5 in the morning so hopefully this is coherent but
- Davey's the oldest of three, settling in living away from the folks for the first time, being away from the siblings, etc
- He's born and bred jewish new york and has the matzah to prove it. Doesn't actually practice as much as he probably should but.... bacon is tasty.
- Here majorly on scholarship. Taking just enough classes to be Stressed Out nigh constantly because of it. Keeps long hours because he panic studies. Friends with most baristas near the campus, definitely knows a majority of them by name.
- Has a fount of useless knowledge because he trawls recollepedia when the hours get weird
- He's a bit (a lot) by the books but with enough convincing even he'll get swept up with crowd and do something wild and unexpected. A true neutral. He's definitely had a number of surprising experiences because of it.
- Definitely a bit old fashioned and not up to date with the latest. A majority of the time will not know anything entertainment wise with the niblings not around to keep him up to date. Someone help this child.
- #SUFFERS at being the straight man to Jack's shenanigans. Became roommates with him if only over the horror at the others lack of food skill. At least be can boil water dear god.
- His cooking skills is actually only about bachelor average. Can heat up cans of soup on the stove and put things in the oven for cooked food. Bakes delicious stress cookies however.
- For all his loner nerd image he's actually quite friendly and personable. A little harder to emulate now that baby bro isn't around to stop from talking to every stranger on the street but he manages
- I'm not saying he builds toy models but he definitely builds toy models
- I'm also sure he's also spent a good time of his younger teens addicted to WoW or the equivalent of but maybe tabletop gaming? Both? There's definitely a nerdy subgroup he's apart of online or not.
LOOKING FOR: People to get him away Jack. People for him to meet Because of Jack. Classmates. People he's bonded with over late night study jams. Small (or large) children whom he can big bro at to fill his sibling hole. Honestly anyone interested tbh

In the game, I have this lady here who is an elementary teacher but she visits the university a lot to see her friends at the faculty there. Maybe they run across each other?

For someone I'm apping in, I have Roderic (

foretellable)! He likes to visit the university in an attempt to know more about everything so he would love to hear David's fountain of random trivia because wow that all sounds amazing? He's so knowledgable let him learn from you.

Yes! Davey's definitely the type to drop by faculty offices so it's incredibly likely they'd at least be on a face-basis with each other. c:

Don't let davey teach by playing trivia games with anyone though. That's when all the real off the wall davey-howcome-you-know-this knowledge comes in.

That's great to hear! She would do her best to be very friendly to him and ask how he's doing, what he's studying, etc to know him better.

Oh my gosh. Now I'm torn between Roderic being the one who asks the 'how come you know that' or just goes with the flow and nods knowingly when said he'll understand it for himself one day. While not really knowing what's going on but he trusts Davey!

Oh my god, I have to say, I am so excited to see a Davey, I used to play Jack Kelly as my main for years. Like, if you ever want to meme or something, good lord, hit me up.

THAT BEING SAID ALAS I AM NOT BRINGING JACK but Rosalind Lutece here, a physics professor over at the university who would absolutely help any scholarship kids who seem like they're a bit overwhelmed.

BUT YES. He's def a giant noodle who wanders by professors offices asking about class things but doesn't actually say his internal screaming is at 9000 so. PLEASE HELP THIS POOR CHILD PROFESSOR.
