AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! AU NAME: Zaveid Taleb
AU AGE: 30
AU OCCUPATION: A jack-of-all-trades sort of handyman; as a result he’s a bit of a drifter, moving from job to odd job
BLURB:
-Had a perfectly normal childhood with perfectly normal parents. When asked about his past, he would probably say something about how he “only looks forward” or something like that, but he’s not secretly hiding a terrible past, he just likes seeming mysterious.
-Because of how much of a wanderer he is, he’s moved in and out of Recolle throughout the years.
-Is probably some sort of masked vigilante or something. But since it sounds like there’s not really crime in the city, this probably amounts to heckling jaywalkers and pestering people who let their parking meters expire.
-Unless the above isn’t true in which case he thinks he’s fighting crime but really he’s just bothering people. Most of the time, anyway. He’s not a complete loser. He means well, he just doesn’t have it all together.
-He does, however, have a strong sense of justice just like in canon. As he’s from Berseria he won’t have the cynical world-weary attitude he has in Zestiria, instead there’s going to be a lot of INTENSE JUSTICE from Zaveid’s direction. It’ll probably make him come across as younger than he actually is, left over from being something as long-lived as a malak in a previous life.
-Probably has an apartment full of cats with hand-stitched name collars.
-Because of his INTENSE JUSTICE, he might come across as a little naïve; because he’s the kind of guy who would probably lecture people about using things like insecticide and rat traps. I just really want him to be That Guy who shitposts on the network about how weed killers are making the city less beautiful or something similar.

Some miscellaneous ideas I’m playing with:
-probably a college drop-out
-does dog walking on the side
-maybe some sort of martial art? Tai chi, aikido, kendo—something like that

LOOKING FOR: Friends, bosses, former bosses, co-workers… as a result of his tendency to drift between jobs, he’s probably run into or knows everyone who lacks permanent employment in the city.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Come at me, bro.

This is seriously rough so any ideas are appreciated!

Sorey has taken kendo for like a decade at this point, so he might know him from his classes? idk just-- throwing that out there. o/

This sounds possible! I still don't know for sure what martial art I will end up having time take. Heck, it's... Zaveid so the chances of him getting kind of bored and switching it up so maybe Sorey would know him as "that guy who suddenly stopped coming to class"

I STILL WANT ZAVEID TO WORK FOR YEAGER BECAUSE THAT'S FUNNY but even if we don't go that route I absolutely want CR with Zaveid somehow because this is wonderful.
