AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. ranch: kanji's mom can definitely know her! i'm dying thinking about jade visiting him and his mom at the market and just asking to play with their dog. and thank u jade for not thinking him and his farmer's tan are scary... he needs more friends who wouldn't think so. if jade worked at the shelter for a while, we can say that he and his mom picked up tootsie roll from there a few years ago while jade was working there? kanji's mom would have wanted a nice old dog anyway. kanji would probably visit there with tootsie roll if the shelter sells stuff for dogs too, or even just to hang around if they have adoption days?
fashion designer: LMFAO kanji and jade probably had some project assigned to them and while jade was being really friendly, kanji was being shy and trying to work but also nervously staring at her socks... the HUMANITY... does jade ever draw or look at fashion magazines/blogs or anything? if she does, kanji would definitely pipe up about it and wanna talk to her about it!

ranch: THAT IS ADORABLE. i'm gonna say the shelter does do the adoption day thing, and the volunteers at the shelter proooobably are all too attached not to sell things that would help new owners out! EVERYONE AT THE SHELTER IS SO IN LOVE WITH THE SHELTER ANIMALS, lmao. adoption days are pretty common and jade puts together posters and stuff with other workers for certain pets. HELP HER OUT, KANJI.
fashion designer: jade is totally into drawing! her mother does murals around town and her bf still. has. sbahj. in game. sweet bro and hella jeff is game canon, yeah. ANYWAY, she's into art for sure and doodles - i actually imagine she's probably been super into drawing the 3am dress lately? which might be strange since her style is more 1920s vintage THANKS TO. HER PARENTS....IN GAME...

ranch: I GUESS KANJI IS GOING TO VOLUNTEER AT THE SHELTER NOW, he probably just visited and helped jade out enough that people started to consider him one and he rolled with it. HE'LL HELP HER just be aware that kanji's dog drawings are hideous and look like jabba the hut with floppy ears probably.
designer: WHRJDF SBAHJ IS STILL ALIVE THANK! YOU! GOD!! thank god that true high art exists in recolle... kanji would probably expire if he saw it (and reveal that he actually has no taste? smh), so please show sbahj to him, i'm begging you. he would love to talk art/her mom's murals with her sometime!
and i love thinking about 1920's style jade... if he saw the drawing, he would probably tell her that it seems simple enough to make if she wants it! i've heard that there's a prom coming up in recolle if jade's going to that? kanji would probably be happy to make it for her!
