Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Kiryu literally is the kind of guy who helps anyone in need (even when he... can't really do much??) so even like, running into him once is enough for Kiryu to decide 'I must make sure this child is ok'

I went to go read your workshop post. Ehehe.

Maybe he catches Yukine doing something shady like swiping something small from a store and confronts him a little ways outside of the store? Yukine would definitely be resistant, but I'm sure we could work from there a reason for them to keep running into each other?

\o/ ohhhh, yeah that'd be great! He'd totally be the kind of guy to ask if Yukine needs that thing he stole (which, btw, if Yukine answered 'yes' to, he'd believe it....) so them running into each other over petty stuff would be real cute. Not actually stopping him but Concerned and still scolding him, that's his way...

Maybe they hang around the same kind of shops and stuff since Yukine's looking for Yato and Kiryu's will have talked to him a few times?

So what I'm hearing is that he's gonna seek Kiryu out all the time to convince him to buy him food. It's like feeding a stray cat. Once you do it once, it won't go away.

...HAHAHAHA. Oh no, Kiryu, you're gonna have the Worst Time if you get involved in the Yukine-Yato situation. I mean, with that said, please get involved. He's probably going to end up repeatedly punching him in the face. Much like in their original canon.

I am 100% serious in saying that after some regains Kiryu would honestly... believe that Yukine and Yato are fighting because they're friends. This is basically his and Majima's canon relationship. They are friends.

THAT SOUNDS TOTALLY GOOD!! Kiryu taking in wayward crime children and offering them food, a porch to sit on and whine about the world, he and makoto can both put him up to speed on that fancy new nintendo switch business

True friendships among men (ie: yakuza) always involve a little violence, that's just how it is, right??

That's super cute, please do it... Kiryu probably has a regular DS (or a 2DS) and plays... Madden (on his Xbox) or some shit at home, he has not been brought into the proper video game world...
