AU NAME: Orion Jacobson
AU AGE: 25
AU OCCUPATION: Varies; takes up jobs and drops them just as easily due to his temperament and mental health.

BLURB:
-Orion is semi-antisocial because of mental health and fighting background. He is also pretty blunt when he speaks up and isn't afraid to hurt your feelings.
-He is Schizophrenic - Particularly suffers hallucinations and paranoia.
-He is easily goaded into a fight by being called "chicken" and the like.
-He's a messy person. Anyone who visits his abode is likely to see no organizational system whatsoever.
-Because he has difficulties keeping jobs, he switches semi-frequently between living in a small apartment and going right back to his parents when his money runs out.
-Heine hates being restricted in any sense, and thus can rebel against rules just because he doesn't want to conform to them. He's not a massive criminal or anything, but breaking rules is certainly not below him to get a desired effect.
-He has a background in street fighting and hails from Oregon. So, if you got in a fight with someone who particularly enjoyed kicking someone's ass, it'd probably be this guy.
-This guy hangs out at the library from time to time, if only to research potential jobs he might want to get a degree in. (So far, he's found nothing that he's particularly interested in.)

LOOKING FOR: Definitely friends, since he moved here when he was seventeen. Anyone who can tolerate his shit and try to coax him to try to do more than live out of his parents house for a few months on a stretch. People to start fights with, calming people to soothe him during an episode. And generally just about anything in between. I'd be open for family members outside of his parents, too (I prefer his parents to remain NPCs). Also anyone he may have fought with back in the good old days of highschool.

Employers are a good idea, too.

I am also willing to tweek parts of my story to make backgrounds match up. Things like places he was raised in are extremely flexible.

Is he living at home or in an apartment at present? 'Cause if he's in an apartment, how would you feel about an overly cheerful twink for a neighbor? Fai wouldn't be above bringing him take-out and leaving post-it reminders to take care of himself :)

I certainly can set it up so that he starts out in an apartment :) Fai would be very interesting to have some conversations with and might get a few side-eyes from Orion because what's with the sticky notes, dude?

Look Orion, Fai is a mommy and you just need to let him subtly take care of you so you don't run yourself into the ground okay. He'll be cool about it I swear.

Actually he's a giant ray of sunshine and Orion might end up hating him but hey, I'm willing to take that chance :3

Yes, Fai, come mom Orion into submission. His parents were very loose on the handles of his development, so it'll be nice for someone to actually try to make sure that Orion is taken care of to some degree.

Giant rays of sunshine are A-okay! They tend to grow on him more easily than quiet people, if only because there's something interesting about all that weird energy they give off. Besides, rays of sunshine are more likely to start a conversation than he is. So, Fai will be allowed to talk alot while Orion just listens. Just, uh.... ~~don't mind the mess when he invites you into his apartment...~~

IT'S SETTLED THEN. Orion's invited over for home-cooked meals (probably only once a week because Fai's schedule is crazy, but he's a great cook) and Fai is going to make it his mission to get Orion back on his meds. And he's going to get yammered at a lot, BE PREPARED.

Yes, perfect! I am duly prepared for this! Orion's almost guaranteed to be a shit about his meds, though.

At first he's going to totally shrug off Fai with "Yea, whatever. -doesn't do it-"

Rhys is definitely in the same boat as far as "looking for a different career to get a job in" because he hates his as an IRS agent?? They can be "what am I doing with my life" coffee library buddies or something

Definitely! And they can complain together about how hard it is to find a decent job, not knowing what they really want in a career, and maybe even talk more at the library than they get done because talking is easier than research. :)

Lol, but yes. Hookups are great things. I don't know how much Orion will be able to offer back, but it's always fun to see where it goes.

Do you want them to know each other before the game starts? Or do you want them to meet each other after we get in?

HMM, good question. Would it be easier to assume they've spoken a few times and go from there or start fresh?

I can honestly go with either. If you want to play out them meeting for the first time, that's easy enough.

But if you really have no preference, I'd say let's go with the former and say they've spoken a few times.

That sounds good to me, less awkward ice to breath :>b
