AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Zelos Wilder | Tales of Symphonia
CHARACTER: Zelos Wilder
CANON: Tales of Symphonia
AU NAME: Probably the same! But I'm open to suggestions.
AU AGE: 23
AU OCCUPATION: Model
BLURB:
⋆ From a very well known (and wealthy) family. As far as everyone knows, he's an only child, and it was assumed that he'd go into politics like his parents.
⋆ Graduated with honors from a prestigious university. Ten minutes talking to him, and anyone will probably come to the conclusion that he cheated and bought his way to graduation. They might not be wrong.
⋆ After graduation, he moved to Recolle to pursue work as a model. This caused a large rift between him and his parents (they foot the bill for school), and he is now estranged. I'm playing with the time-frame for this, but right now the plan is to say that he moved ~1 year ago.
⋆ He still acts like a frat boy. He'll hit on almost anyone, and he's really into the party scene. Avoids responsibility like the plague.
⋆ Probably comes with his own personal group of seventy legitimately screwed over exes. Due to the flirting, he has flings and gets into relationships pretty often, but they never last more than a week because he's bad at being a decent human being.
⋆ He's very rude.
⋆ Despite his carefree attitude, he does put genuine effort into his looks (and his hair), and there are even some rumors that he's taking this modeling thing seriously.
⋆ He has the potential to trust and care about people, but he has to get to know them very well first. And he's very, very stubborn about pushing people away and being a jackass.
LOOKING FOR: Anything and everything! He's a bit stubborn and hard to get positive CR with (at the moment, that will change with time), so he might not have many friends, but he will have plenty of people he's dated and started fights with! Open to family shenanigans, too.

Tony is an hot shot author to put the above in context laughs. As such could also be they met at a fancy celebrity type party or a modeling show Tony was invited to. Or they awkwardly share several exs and Tony frequently comments one of them needs to get better taste.

I can give you a rich girl! Garnet/Ari is a socialite/model who moved to Recolle a little after Zelos did. Since rich people seem to know other rich people, they could be acquaintances if you'd like. Ari's mom is the exact kind of mean, shallow and power-hungry celebrity that everyone hates. Ari's grandfather was also an ambassador so there's politics in there too. However, Ari herself tends to hang out with Dante/Riku and his group of troublemakers, so there's occasional... like... partying and street racing involved in there too... idk just a thought!!!
I also play Sorey but he's still in college and so straight laced he'd probably offer Zelos his shirt if he met him in an alley.

YEP........... Ari's dad is dead, but her mother is still alive and is essentially the biggest bitch on the block. Ari recently also pissed her off, so that's a thing too. Rebellion!!! Yay!!!!

but i'd love if in general they go from :/ status to being friends, eventually... once they understand each other's differences... also, the fact that prompto's extremely hardworking vs zelos' easier approach/cheating approach to life would be awesome to explore in a relationship +_+
