AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! well he also has a building at recolle university named after him, so it's a definite "oh, THAT Kasen" kind of moment

Kasen is a super eccentric/esoteric artist and patron. he's lived in Recolle for 15? ish years, has problems connecting with his brother, and with people in general. he's just not very good at being a Person who sees other People as anything other than artworks to be examined, so I imagine that's where the problems came up.

like I imagine it's flattering for anyone to be seen as a "muse" at first, but after awhile, yeah... gets old.

can you do something about the building named after you being impossible to navigate without a map and a prayer, though, he got lost trying to find classes the first time and then the second time and then the third time

he would absolutely be on his ass about wasting his talents, though he understands the need to Get Paid, too. the struggle of adult artists with bills and shit.

and yes, collaborations are an absolute thing that can exist. he loves doing stuff with other artists. he may have even done covers for some of tony's books.

he does his best!! sometimes. mostly.. sometimes it's just his questionable best, but it's fine, it all works out in the end.

that'd be super cute though! he's already helped some cosplayers around the city, so maybe she could catch wind through the grapevine and that's how they could have met?

that sounds wonderful! younger elizabeth would be 1: pregnant within the first year of entering recolle (bad life choices) or dealing with a baby. so she'd be out in cafes using the wifi since they couldn't really afford a computer or something. since he's a writer and out an about, they could have crossed paths when elizabeth was still new (preggo or otherwise) to the city and here we are. ambitious friendships ahoy.

i mean, worst case scenario we can combine these? liz can offer to do art for his book covers and she in exchange can try to invite him to events because of their history. get out of the mancave, tony. people need help.
