Final Fantasy type games. Current one is about a bunch of guys traveling a war-torn land in order to get a peace treaty all signed up. There's also a MMO game.

AU AGE: 17
AU OCCUPATION: high school student/street performer
BLURB:

-a lot of this isn't really set in stone, I'm still trying to figure things out

-was probably kidnapped at a young age (or may just be an orphan, I haven't decided if I want to write that out yet,) but either way he was kind of just meandering around the streets of recolle before being brought to the orphanage/foster care system. He insisted his name was Silver, but other than that he has no clue who he is or where he's from and doesn't really talk about anything from his past.
-Speaks Japanese! Japanese was his first language, but he knows English better at this point; he's fluent in both conversationally, but
-he is absolutely a punk and a problem child. he's got a bit of a pickpocketing problem that he's been trying to curb since he's rapidly getting closer to turning eighteen. Instead, when he's skipping class or refusing to head back to his foster home, he's usually out on the streets of recolle doing some kind of street performing- probably through dancing, although that could change to music or art stuff depending on who he ends up getting preestablished cr with
-actually pretty smart and scores on tests really well, but is ultimately disinterested in pretty much everything taught in school. He's directionless and lacks ambition, although he applies himself pretty hard to what he is interested in.
-between never really being adopted (which is largely his fault for acting like a shit child) and his parents never finding him, he's pretty closed off and ultimately just wants the freedom to do what he'd like with his life, even if that might be running it into the ground. Despite this he is still a pretty soft person deep down and really just wants acceptance and some kind of direction.
-an absolute weeb that loves anime, particularly anything with mechas
-has some kind of athletic hobby/interest. I'm thinking parkour?
-absolutely loves animals, and frequently cares for stray animals to the point where he's pretty much regularly getting rabies vaccines
-copes with a lot of deadpan humor
-will do pretty much anything for money

LOOKING FOR:
-Friends! Friends that he can be a shitty teenager with, friends that get on his case for being kind of a dick, friends that drag him to school, friends with gaming systems because he can't afford video games. Kids he sasses with in the orphanage. Friends!
-...The exact opposite of friends. Someone either in the orphanage or in high school that he clashes with at every opportunity, whether it's because they're annoying or because he's a stonewalling asshole.
-Some adults he can look up to or doesn't entirely stonewall, whether it's because they actually bothered to engage him in something he found interesting or because they're patient enough to deal with his crap
-Shady people dragging the directionless teenager into sketchy shit, because I like conflict idk
-If there are police/detective types, maybe someone who's heard of his lost cause weird kidnapping case. Alternatively, someone who's actually taken him in for the bad pickpocketing habit and is therefore wary as hell of him.
-idk man, I'm pretty much down for anything (which is a copout answer but still)

Well, if Minako goes to live with relatives, what if the relatives are Sora's Mom's cousins? So that would make Minako and Sora second cousins, I think? Or something like that.

He went off to college in Europe partly to get away from them, and partly because he wanted to see as much of the world as he possibly could.
- Since then, he's lived and studied in something like fifteen different countries, and is conversational in almost as many languages.
- Moved to Recollé to teach because it's about time he made his way back to America and started trying to encourage the next generation toward the stars.
- He is really, really excited about space.

jade is a massive, massive fan of board games. she's not great at video games and didn't grow up in a family that could actually afford them, so she might not be super into that, but the holographic and virtual reality stuff yes, she would be a huge nerd about that, and be really into it. SHE'S SEVENTEEN so i'm not sure how easy it would be for them to know each other but she'd probably hang out at game shops and pop into gaming conventions to play tabletop stuff - she'd definitely recognize him, at least :0!

» Raised by some relatives outside of Recollé. Her biological mother is super duper dead and her dad was super duper Not There while she was growing up.
» Still a gosh darned genius, so she ended up getting bumped up twice while in school. This resulted in her graduating high school at 15.
» She then proceeded to enroll in a pretty renown university, supported by scholarships and the like.
» For her bachellor's degree, she did a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design.
» Could have literally gone Ivy Leagues or MIT for her master's degree, but instead she ended up looking at Recollé for her post-graduate options... for reasons.
» Which leads to her asking for a transfer at her workplace, packing her bags, and moving to Recollé.
» Not being locked up for a good chunk of her life has made her 1000000% happier and less ready to call the first person she sees on the street her friend, but she's still pretty sociable and kind.
» She is also extremely tired of people telling her they know more about computer stuff. Please calm down. She knows what she's doing, etc etc etc.
