i play prompto! and he's leveling up on the friendship front with penelo, so there's a chance yuffie might of see prompto around their place a bit? so maybe they can know each other that way. let's get into trouble...

on the other hand i can also offer makoto, who also comes from japan. his family may recognise the kisaragi name if you'd like? and then "why is the kisaragi heiress stealing from my dad's bookshop..oi...." LMAO OR SOMETHING.. sup!?

THE FASHIONABLE FRIEND STATUS IS...QUESTIONABLE AT BEST. but he'll help snow, for sure. they could even joke about really being siblings with their hair + eye colour..!! would you like them to have known each since before you app him, or build up their friendship from that point onwards?

i am 100% for having them be cousins! chiyo's au brother is rin from free! and i just cleared it with rin's player, so if you're down, i'm down!

if they were cousins, that would give chiyo more reason for her to be into photography because she'd want to connect with yukine in some way. she'd be very worried about his punk behavior and try to be encouraging for anything that won't land him straight into trouble. she'll try to bob ross him with photography and art and cats.

chiyo visits some newborn kittens and takes pictures of them that she'd be happy to send him, too. kittens are healing

chiyo doesn't mention her online art accounts to people unless prompted or it's like proper for the situation, but she won't deny it's her if people ask if that's her art. so if at any point ursula would ask, chiyo would give her a link and she'd also definitely teach her cute japanese emoji!

i'd love for them to be childhood friends and she'll know mafuyu is a good person at heart even if she's being a delinquent

she'd try to get mafuyu to skip class less (sends a text every once in a while, please come to school! are you coming to school? don't forget to go to school, etc) and be worried about how many fights mafuyu gets into, but i imagine chiyo would be as effectual against mafuyu as anyone is against seo

HONESTLY Brett probably would've gone ??? and stopped out of pure not knowing how to handle the situation, since he's not... used to people trying to be understanding or whatnot... While he wouldn't necessarily have opened up to Kiryu and he was probably still kind of a rude shit, he wouldn't have been hostile, at least! Just "what the hell is with this guy???"

i imagine mafuyu gets her phone smashed in a fight one day and by the time she gets it repaired, she powers it up and finds a hundred texts from chiyo with increasing urgency lmao
they probably get along really well because honestly? i say mafuyu is SO MUCH but i remembered this picture and chiyo can be just as much hahaha
